my family of 3 was here on 7/9 around 5:30/6pm. if you are from the bay area you know we are prone to car burglaries/theft. we came directly from our long day of work & picking up our son from daycare. i brought my purse inside & my husband brought in a backpack. as we are checking out from the moment we began the transaction the marshalls team member is insisting that we put our items into my husbands backpack. we politely declined as our sons multiple pieces of clothing as well as misc items will not fit, we opted to purchase a bag for .10 cents. towards the end of the transaction the manager who was of im guessing indian descent, standing behind the marshalls team member throughout the whole transaction then says to the team member “the backpack?”. i then tell them we walked in here with my husbands backpack, feel free to check the camera footage. instead of offering an apology for the mistake the manager says “we have policy to follow”. what a disgusting and unprofessional to handle...
Read moreWe usually have a good experience at Home Goods but today we didn't. We brought our dog into the store and Susie a Home Goods employee said hello and was even friendly to our dog but then another customer came into the store with her dog behind us and Susie went up to the customer and said " I would be careful with that dog". "I would put your dog in the cart if I were you". We felt Susie instigated the whole situation and acted very unprofessional. Nobody else seemed to mind our dog as a matter in fact they were petting her and kept complementing her. We unfortunately had a horrible experience today at Home Goods and are saddened that our sweet well behaved friendly dog was mistreated and misjudged. The rest of our evening was ruined and we couldn't enjoy...

She'll spend 5 minutes following and stopping everyone checking out, regardless if the person says they want to hear about it or not. You feel trapped in the line because she'll hold you up from checking out until you speak with her about why you don't want it, no you don't care about the discount, no you aren't looking for perks, you aren't looking to use it across the USA and all the other conversations she wants to have. If the line is long and she's there badgering everyone, I simply leave my stuff and...
