Incredibly impressive work of art and history! The museum goes into great depth about the decisions involved in making the statue (which is covered in real gold, which is why it doesn't tarnish), from her headpiece and dress to the intricate painting on her shield (though there are a couple of gods and goddesses missing from the list on the description plaque - probably just didn't fit and no one double checked). It really is such an awe inspiring experience to walk into that room and be greeted by the statue. And it's all the more impressive after hearing the story of how it was designed and assembled. It's very thoughtfully and deliberately conceived and executed, and the finished product speaks for itself. Really a must see if you're a...

All my life I've wanted to see the Parthenon and tried to imagine what it must have looked like in all its glory. What a thrill it was for me to have literally stumbled upon this exact replica in a park in Nashville. It is extraordinary to think that people in this music city supported such a tremendous undertaking. I spent a lot of time there and really enjoyed seeing all the replica artifacts. Of course, the spectacular Athena with her amazing shield is...

Exploring the beautiful building in a vibrant park felt like stepping into a different era. The architecture was simply stunning, with intricate details that captivated my attention. Surrounding the structure, the park bustled with life and activity, creating a lively atmosphere. Knowing the history of the area added another layer of appreciation for the space. It was a perfect blend of beauty, history, and a lively setting, all...

Even though this is a replica of Athena, this is something you should see. The architecture and handiwork is stunning and intricate. I’m glad I made the trip inside to see it! I only wish the other exhibits were open. They were being updated and someone was getting new legs.
