Incredibly impressive work of art and history! The museum goes into great depth about the decisions involved in making the statue (which is covered in real gold, which is why it doesn't tarnish), from her headpiece and dress to the intricate painting on her shield (though there are a couple of gods and goddesses missing from the list on the description plaque - probably just didn't fit and no one double checked). It really is such an awe inspiring experience to walk into that room and be greeted by the statue. And it's all the more impressive after hearing the story of how it was designed and assembled.
