I have been to many Lego stores and sadly I have to say that I was very disappointed in the staff at this store. I waited an hour to get into the store (I was traveling and wanted to visit this store) and was not greeted when I entered (as I have been at all previous stores. I was looking for an item, but told that I was out of luck and the employee went back to doing something else. I then asked if we could use the "make your own minifig" and I was told that I had to wait another hour because there were not enough employees to help us. This was very unusual to me because there were 4 staff and just me (and my wife), but there was no enough employees! Needless to say, but I left not very happy and found that our experience very poor. I visited two other Lego stores on the way home to Ohio and got the service that I have come to be use too. Sadly these stores did not have the machines that allowed me (or more importantly my wife) to make my own personal minifig. Don't know if I will go out of my way again to visit this store and it is a shame because it looks like a very nice...
Read moreTop-notch. A great variety of sets, good employees, and LEGO!!! I would say the only downsides are the relatively small pick-a-brick selection and that people seem to just unleash their children in there and...well, often they're really not all that courteous or care if they are in your way or not. It's less "kid in a candy store" type excitement than it is "a daycare suddenly appeared inside a toy store." Think, walking through a room full of zoomy cats and trying not to step on any tails. It's not bad all the time, just sometimes, and a million percent worth...
Read moreI tend to only do reviews when I experience something that can only be fixed by staff training or replacement. My sister and I browsed for like 15 minutes before she picked an item and checked out. The line was long so a second register opened up as we were waiting. When it was her turn she went to the register and PERSON 1 stepped away pretending to help someone else. Then when he finally looked at us we were directed to another register. We thought they were shutting down the register since the line had shortened. No. Instead he takes the white family behind us. It was racist at worst and a micro-aggression at best. PERSON 2 who checked us out was nice and we know this isn’t a reflection of Lego but a reflection of that persons poor customer service...
