HomeGoods — Attraction in New Braunfels

First time I came here to buy furniture items for my new apartment. I found a couch. Let’s just say the staff here are very stubborn and don’t know their policies. I won’t even talk about the first time I went and dealt with some unnecessary bs. I decided to return the couch due to someone getting me one. So I called before hand and they said that I could exchange it. I drove from San Marcos, TX to New Braunfels and shopped for two hours. The store is a bit cluttered. Two mirrors fell down because they were all way too close together and then as I was pulling out another one, another one fell and broke, which could have been harmful to me... despite this I continued to shop and I was finally very happy with my items. Then the cashier proceeds to do a return. My credit limit was not a lot and Common sense tells you that a return will take 1 to 3 business days to process. I tell her that it won’t work that way and she calls the manager on duty who says that they don’t do exchanges anymore. He says that maybe if we do the return that I can call and get a credit increase and I’m thinking well if my limit is a certain amount why would they increase it ? However I continue with frustration and sure enough my card does not go through. She hands me the number and I call them. They say it will take up to 3 business days. I ask the person on the phone what the policy was and the lady says that they should have given me store credit and I could have purchased my items that way.... so 1 I almost got harmed from falling Mirrors, wasted time that could have been purposeful somewhere else, and in the time that I really needed items for my apt ... I have to wait ... In this day and time, we all make mistakes ... but we also don’t have time to waste...

Home Goods has every nice items of good quality...for half of what you would pay else where. My daughter's and I have bought every nice items for the house. Kitchen items, bathroom and bedroom..not to mention but am going to framed pictures, Elegant looking statues and vases. Lots of storage items. The biggest plus are the employees they are nice, friendly, act professional while on duty and they are very helpful. When you think they have gone and left you, they are helping you look for your items on another section of the store were they may have it displayed. How about that! If your looking for that certain piece of furniture whether it be a chair, TV Cabinet, storage unit or a corner piece for displaying You're Precious Collectible, take a peek it won't hurt you just might find it there. Happy...

Great store as of this posting it seems who ever the newest manager is, really focuses on keeping the store orderly. Nothing's worse than going into a TJMaxx or HomeGoods and finding chaos. I love the teak-wood stools I use them when I wrench on my vehicles. I love their pet section, we've got 3 cats and 3 dogs, if one of them needs a new little bed or bowl or whatnot, HomeGoods typically has something that fits and the bill and does not break the bank.
