1 Fordham Plaza — Attraction in New York

The reason for visiting Fordham Plaza was to attend the summer bronx night market. I shared some photos of a few of my favorites. Mel's Fusion, oxtail with mac & cheese, all made from scratch. It's unbelievably delicious. I heard another patron exclaim that it was the best food he'd EVER eaten in his life! My other favorite... Bronx Burger Co. They have a cheeseburger freshly made.(not frozen) with mapel bacon, caramelized onions on a brioche roll. The burger's to die for. They're only around for two more months, last Saturday of each month. In October they celebrate Octoberfest.I would recommend getting there early (before 2pm) so as not to risk them running out of anything. Also great dessert choices, caramel apples, fried ice cream just to mention a few.Good...

I have been going here all my life. Many stores. Very, very busy area. No subway, unless you want to climb a long hill. Loads of buses, plus Metro North. Maybe because of the pandemic, but fast food places I tried this week did not have seating. Very heavy traffic. From what I read, crime may be a problem at certain times of the day, and night., altho I have not had any problems myself so far. Maybe it is sentimental for me, since I grew up and lived nearby...
