Teriyaki One Japanese Grill (Teriyaki & Sushi) — Restaurant in New York

I had chicken teriyaki bento at $9.99. It wasn't expensive but food overall was terrible. Inexpensive food doesn't need to be terrible. Rice was stuck to each other (cooked rice does that when it's cooked long time before serving). Spring roll was thick with flour. Dumpling was soaked in oil. Overall, low quality food; they seem to try to make up with quantity. I won't need that much rice (especially when it's not tasty) or two pieces of dumpling and spring roll. One dumpling and one spring roll at a higher quality is preferred. Iceberg salad was so and so. For the chicken and source, i am giving one star. Their bathroom had dirty floor, water (or urine?) around the rim of toilet seat and no toilet paper and smelly. I don't want to...

I had a really bad experience, I made an order by mistake and immediately canceled the order. I understand they can charge a cancellation fee, but not the total cost of my food. I was charged $27.15 for cancellation. I believe it was quite excessive especially since I cancelled the order immediately. Overall poor experience.

Edit: it was through Uber eats. Sorry I can’t reply directly. I hate burdening this business but I still do believe that $27.15 cancellation charge is a bit absurd. A friend of mine introduced me to this place and in the beginning I loved it.I felt that the food was tasty,not so oily and love the portions and the prices are reasonable.But lately since a recent visit as well as a Grubhub order,I was not too impressed.Meat is unseasoned and bland,little to no flavor and meat tastes and feels like rubber and looks weird.I wil do way much better going to a hood chinese restaurant and get much more flavorful food.I do give them credit for cleanliness and very prompt and professional service but they need to jazz up...
