A & Y Royal Insurance Brokerage — Attraction in New York

Stay away! This is the worst brokerage ever. Been with them for 4 years and all 4 years they were overcharging me. I probably wouldn’t notice if one day I didn’t need to add a driver to my policy. Started counting and comparing with other people what I pay and realized that I’ve been paying more than all the people (which are using different brokerage) I talked to. When asked for a break-down of what the insurance company charges me (been there 3 times, called about dozen times) received nothing. The first time asked for the break-down in November 2018, now it is February 2019 and I still did not get it. Let alone charging me and not providing the appropriate service I was also yelled at. When asked for a manager was waiting weeks for her to come to her job only to be yelled at by her too, and pointed in the direction of the owner of that brokerage, who was supposed to contact me on January 2nd 2019 (needless to say, no one contacted me). So, I would suggest when you see “A&Y” run in the opposite direction. Otherwise be ready to pay more, not receive service that you paying for and yelled at, because that is how they do business. After all that they had the audacity to call me and ask me for deposit money for next year. I am using different brokerage now, but decided to listen to how much they asking. And guess what, they asked for more money than I paid at my current brokerage. Politely told them that I no longer require...

I highly recommend A & Y Royal Insurance Brokerage. I was previously insured through another broker for my TLC vehicle insurance. At the time of renewal in 2020, I was informed by that agency, that they would not be able to renew my vehicle's insurance , as a result of an incident in which a pedestrian jay walked in front of my vehicle while talking on her cell phone without paying attention to traffic. I desperately tried different Insurance Brokerages with the same result. At that point, with no choices left, I called over the phone A & Y Royal Insurance Brokerage and spoke with Julian , the Manager. He told me than, to come by with my documentation to their office on Coney Island Ave. in Brooklyn. After a very pleasant meeting in his office I received a phone call from Julian in which he informed me that after several calls, he was able to get me coverage with one of the Insurance companies they do business with. This is my first public review for any company or service I have been a client for. I offer my opinion for only one reason, and it is because A&Y is the GOLD STANDARD of a business, in terms of service, deals and consistency for their clients. Knowing next to nothing about insurance and rates, my dad and I first approached them years ago, and have since been some of their BIGGEST FANS. The rates are shown and explained beforehand, the policies are unraveled, NOTHING is left to the imagination. It really pains us to see horribly worded negative reviews from people who are clearly NOT CLIENTS. These FAKE REVIEWS in BROKEN ENGLISH are garbage. The customer service is amazing, you are treated with CARE sand RESPECT from day one.
