It was my first experience with Amy, she has great customer service because she is reassuring and is a very friendly person, which is why I give her two stars. But her quality of service is bad she didn’t cut my cuticles & she rushed my whole service, which was understandable because she was short staffed it was just her & someone else but I would of waited instead of being rushed because I’m paying just like everyone else. So that was unfair to me especially since it was my first time coming here. That wasn’t a good first impression. The Spanish lady with the braids that did my pedicure she did a great job, so I give her credit on that she knows how to do nails really good. Amy didn’t apply the acrylic & tips on my nails properly. The acrylic is detached from my natural nails, making it look very bad. I never experienced this from a nail tech before, so that was very disappointing. I told her about it immediately before I left and she just put glue on it & gave me glue to put on it, which just made it look worse & more sloppy. Amy painted the nails nicely and she is very fast but the quality of service wasn’t worth it, which is the most important part it’s the quality of service, to make sure it’s being done properly and every details isn’t missed. Which she didn’t provide to me. She is overly priced & the nails isn’t worth the price. I paid a total of $100 for a basic gel manicure with tips/acrylic which was $55 then $45 for a basic gel pedicure. In other nail salons that done much better service charged me $10 less each for a gel manicure/pedicure, so $20 less in total. My nails only lasted a week, all of my nails are starting to pop off already. Usually when I got my nails done at other places it always lasted me 3-4 weeks. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming...

I recently visited Angkor Nail shop and had a less-than-pleasant experience. The owner, who frequently rants about professionalism and respect in front of customers, seems to be struggling to uphold these values herself. She often speaks indirectly about people while they are present, which is quite uncomfortable. She always on live the whole time she’s doing clients which makes me feels like she’s not focused. Unfortunately, her nail work isn't impressive either.

The owner tends to remind everyone about the significant investment she made in the business, which becomes tiresome. Her attempts to push a narrative of positive energy come across as forced and annoying. She would be better off focusing on her work and relaxing a bit.

Additionally, her interactions with her staff are troubling. She talks to them as if they are children or unintelligent, creating a combative and unwelcoming environment. Overall, my experience was disappointing, and I hope she can improve both her attitude and...

I found this salon through a random google maps search. I walked in to just get my usual gel mani and pedi. I do not typically add tip’s because it’s just not my thing and I am very particular about it. However after walking into Angkor salon and being impressed with the pedicure I decided to take a risk and step away from a gel manicure. I went with a beautiful set of tips with a simple but sexy design. This was mainly because the owner Amy was so warm and light hearted. She gave me confidence to get out my comfort zone and try something I usually wouldn’t. I love it and will be returning. I even got them longer than I wanted but it’s a win. Highly recommend this place. Amy is very skillful. My mani and pedi are very nicely...

EDIT: I just saw a reply from the owner about how this was a "repair" job. to clarify--it was NOT. This was a set I got done at Angkor Nail Salon--all builder gel, gel paint, and chrome was done at Angkor. Service was wonderful and amy is absolutely so sweet, but I was let down by how quickly these nails chipped (these photos were taken 1 day after getting this chrome done and it had already chipped), the gel is uneven and in some places it doesn’t even cover my real nail, and there was no cuticle prep. This was second time at Angkor and both times I’ve been a bit let down. That being said Amy is incredibly kind, I’m just used to much cheaper but more attentive nail services elsewhere.
