I truly want to thank Dr. Appolon and her staff for quality care and service through and through. I can not say enough about the level of care that Dr. Appolon's staff take for the process leading up to, during, and after the visit.
First, before even getting to Dr. Appolon's office there is a virtual meeting set up between the Dr. and her staff that takes care of insurance and finance- we walk through the procedures, they share key videos and information that is helpful for us to know as the consumer, they walk through the care plan and cost. Following that initial session, Dr. Appolon and her staff spend a significant amount of time and care taking pictures, x-rays, and utilizing other advanced tools to get a comprehensive understanding of your dental health before coming up with a clear plan.
Following the initial assessment, Dr. Appolon spends a great deal of time walking through a care plan and ensuring that you are clear about cost, treatment, etc.
During the procedure- staff are always checking in to see how you are feeling (even so much as to asking if the music is ok, if you are comfortable - too warm? too cold? - they got you). After your visit, they will call you to check in on you and offer any additional resources or supports.
Finally, Dr. Appolon even has a direct messaging feature that links to the front desk - so that if you have immediate questions, they can answer it as soon as they're able to.
As a final thought, when you walk into the office, the energy and vibe is friendly and upbeat. You are greeted with a smile, good music, and people who seem to really love what they do. They seem to enjoy working with each other, and most of all they care about people.
I've relocated and no longer a client there, but, I've never felt so genuinely cared for. I have nothing but rave reviews for all the staff! Thank you Dr. Appolon, Max, and and...
Read moreFirstly, please note that I'd like to say that I went to the group for a cleaning, which, in my opinion, went well. I felt that Dr. Appolon was thorough with her approach to the task and the procedure.
It was after this procedure that I was told that although I believed things were fine with my teeth, the perception that I had was deceiving and that I'd need to get porcelain fillings because my teeth were "decaying". This came as a complete shock to me because I've never had dental issues; I was then completely shocked to have been told that the procedure would be $1,400.00, out of pocket.
Dr. Appolon went on to explain that my FIRST $700.00 payment would need to be paid immediately and the SECOND $700.00 payment would need to be paid in two weeks' time once the second filling was applied. I could not pay this, so her financial admin said that I must sign up for Care Credit. This group ran a "hard" inquiry on my credit, which SHOT down my score several points.
Needless to say, I felt blindsided but I wanted to take care of my teeth; looking back, I should have asked for time to think about this as I could not fathom what was going to happen.
I decided to contact my insurance company for guidance; I was told by their team that I had been charged for a procedure that had not been administered and was later told by an insurance-recommended dentist that my teeth were in great shape and that I did not need a porcelain filling of any sort. I subsequently filed a grievance with my insurer which led to me being refunded by the Appolon Dental Group AND had my Care Credit account closed.
This situation worked out for me in the end; however (and a word to the wise), please know that you should be EXPRESSLY clear about what you'd like AND be clear that you'd like to know BEFOREHAND what the costs will be if you decide to utilize the services of the Appolon...

I may be an anomaly amongst humans but I am a person who enjoys going to the dentist.
I have had wonderful oral care during my lifetime but here is how I came to receive some of the best care I have received in recent years.
A friend of mine had serious oral issues and, when I recently saw her, her face looked transformed, fresh and rejuvenated following some extensive oral work. Although I do not require such care, I was intrigued as to who her Dentist was. This was my initial introduction to the Appolon Dental Group and Dr Appolon.
The office itself is similar to a peaceful oasis. One is surrounded by beauty, with an extremely tasteful decor, made of calm colors that should sooth the apprehensions of those who are fearful to sit in a Dentist chair.
The staff is nice, patient and extremely welcoming.
Upon meeting Dr Appolon, I felt even more at ease. A calm and welcoming disposition yet extremely professional, soothing voice, patient, to name a few.
Despite quickly realizing that I would not require extensive dental care in the immediate, she still took her time to share her observations, ask me certain questions and, based on my answers and goals, detailed the simple steps needed for me to achieve what I wanted.
The latter was something I did not usually experience with my previous Dentists. Not only did it reinforce that I was doing well, when it came to my oral care, it helped make some decisions about my dental “wants”.
I am so glad to now call Dr Appolon my Dentist. Her compassionate approach to care was the little extra I needed in my oral routine.
Thank you to Dr Appolon and to the entire Appolon Dental Care...
