High End Luxury Store With Equally High End Service A long overdue five star review for a company that consistently puts out great products and simultaneously provides their clientele with exceptionally outstanding service. My previous visit was to their other location on Fifth Avenue a few years ago and I also received truly great service at that time, resulting in the purchase of another high quality item. The star at that time was a gentleman by the name of JC. He practically let me try on every leather backpack in the store before I was able up decide on the one I liked, a black pebble leather backpack with a cool bandana print. This time my trip for the day culminated with a cobble-stone road that led me to their Prince Street location. Upon entering the store I was immediately greeted with a friendly smile at the main entrance and I headed downstairs to the men’s section. Almost as soon as I set foot into this area I immediately noticed two mind-numbingly beautiful backpacks that caused me to almost trip over the last stair. One was a green leather backpack with black accents in pebble leather, the other version was made with the much sought after saddle leather. Don’t get me wrong, the green one was just as attractive. It’s just that a saddle brown backpack is extremely difficult to source, and especially so in high quality. I can count on one hand the top manufacturers that make them. Coach is one of them. I was helped by Ally Smith the Lead Supervisor who graciously showed me around the men’s section and offered helpful suggestions. We both agreed that the saddle brown was the way to go, although I must admit that the green backpack kept tugging at my heartstrings and also my wallet. Back upstairs Ally showed me an array of various pins that could be used to customize the merchandise that they sell, explaining to me in the process that Coach also does provide that service within the store. I was able to get a leather tag with my name embossed on it, the work done by Ally and I also added some numerical enameled pins on another leather tag, this part done by Jacqueline Tomlinson. Although there are many places that do sell high end leather goods, for anyone looking for the absolute very best in leather goods, this is THE PLACE. The only good associate in the store was the male greeter with the blonde hair, he was really nice and treated me like I was normal but on the other hand, I'm surprised with how bad the customer service was when buying a bag. I own at least seven Coach bags and I wanted a new one. I can tell who the manager is and she was just really indifferent. She had no problem with assisting the white family taking over the chairs to try on all of the shoes that they most likely will not even buy but when I come in, knowing the exact $700+ bag I wanted, I get a stare and a nod? For the second associate ended up helping me, it was pretty okay at first but the real problem who helped me was that it was extremely rushed, just back and forth, back and forth. I did end up getting the bag, by the way...just for me to get the wrong color :/ My trip back home was quite long so I opened it just for me to get the wrong color. I even checked the receipt and she put in the wrong color. You can be like this all you want to nasty customers but I just came here to buy something and I had all manners necessary just to have all of these inconveniences. I know the name of the associate since it's on my online receipt but I'm not gonna say it out of courtesy since it might have not even been intentional - however, if I'm buying a bag over $700, I should at least get the right item. I'm just going to keep this bag and not make a fuss out of it anymore because I don't want to go back there to be treated like that again, even when its on them. The most kind staff and/or sales associates you will ever encounter. I appreciate each and everyone of them but my favorite will always be Jason. The Store just feels Good. I honestly enjoy my time inside this COACH store. I was so excited to get the bag i ordered and open it, that i felt like i didnt had the chance to really say Thank you to everyone inside COACH who made me feel like a princess. The Experience of shopping inside this location is just Amazing. I was holding my tears cause i was so overwhelmed by the accommodation and Kindness everyone exudes. They also offer to personalize your Coach Tag with your initials or name and I love it. I was so happy. I could not stop smiling. This Location will be my go to COACH store from now on and will be my top recommendation for people who wants to shop COACH. They also have Coachtopia in store and it changed my mind about Coachtopia, the quality and craft is great. How they made that vision a reality with the bags they create is just wonderfully made into life. I always shop Coach or coachoutlet online because they have deals but shopping in this store was worth every penny. I wish, if you want to shop COACH, Go to Prince Street location in Manhattan and i assure you, you will be very satisfied with your visit whether you buy anything or Not.
