I can't say enough about my experience at J&G Custom Jewelry at Artists & Fleas. Julian and Genevieve are some of the kindest people I’ve met and clearly care about their craft. They make the creation experience so personal and give their full attention to each of their customers. My friends and I went to Chelsea on our vacation specifically to visit their stall at Artists & Fleas, and I’m so glad we did.
Julian, who makes the most incredible jewelry out of antique and unique spoons, took the time to ask us about our other jewelry to get an idea of our preferences, talked us through every step of the process, and adjusted the size on all of our rings multiple times to ensure the best possible fit. He has a wealth of knowledge about every piece in his collection and has something for absolutely everyone. I was lucky enough to find a spoon that matched the design on my mother's original wedding china. It's an amazing gift to give her as my parents’ 33rd wedding anniversary comes up this month.
Genevieve was just as brilliant as Julian. Her style of mixing broken or mismatched pieces of old earrings, bracelets, watches, and necklaces is so charming. She took just as much time as Julian did when asking me about my style and what I was looking for in a piece of custom jewelry. I have several pieces of sapphire jewelry that mean a lot to me, and she dug around in her stash behind the counter to find 2 beautiful matching sapphire pieces for me to use. She listened to everything I envisioned and created a dream piece from 2 broken sapphire charms and a dangle earring that had lost its match.
These two give unusual, broken, and mismatched pieces a brand new life with incredible customer service. My friends and family all have the most unique, breathtaking pieces of jewelry that they will cherish for a lifetime because of the creativity and ingenuity of Julian and Genevieve. J&G Custom Jewelry is a must see if you’re in...
Read moreFor anyone that is thinking of selling here, please save your time energy and money and don't do it. This was one of the worst business decisions I have made. We booked one of the weeks of Xmas which allegedly are supposed to be the busiest retail weeks of the year and paid 1500 for that privilege. Allegedly during a normal week any time of the year the foot flow should be around 20000, so you would expect it to be even more than that in December. It was not, at most it was 2000 during the whole day, and that's being generous. The space they give is random you can get a corner or a space that has a huge cement collum blocking 30% of your space. If you are one of the few vendors who actually make more than the fee you paid, you are blessed, since I didn't see anyone making more than 0-3 sales in an hour. Again please save your money and as a small business invest into something that will actually help like online ads or go to a farmers market that charges 50 dollars not 1500,since it's not a drop in the ocean for anyone. Hope this helped someone, because I would give my left hand for this kind of information before I prepared for "scam"...
Read moreI bought a gold filled necklace from Dani And The Rings, Chelsea market on the 29th of December 2019. It has small stones on it. After 1 month of returning to Omaha (28th December) I saw that the small stone settings and the clasp had turned black. And I has not even worn it yet. It was still in the box with zero external contact. No skin or chemical contact. I went out to the team of Dani And The Rings and asked for an explanation. Luchiya Vavouliotis repeatedly accused me of lying and said that I had unbalanced acidic skin pH (how rude and offensive) and that I had worn the necklace where I had never even taken it out of the box. I tried convincing them but after a point they refused to reply. I am thoroughly offended and disgusted with their service and manners and would never recommend them to anyone. And I paid $ 43.55 for the necklace for which they did not even offer...
