Many artists shown are female, often under appreciated and overlooked in the wider art world, many from the cool and important Pattern and Decoration/P&D movement. Always a pleasure visiting this inspiring, low key gallery, the space itself is credibly warm and inviting- and one of the remaining historic buildings in the area. Staff is friendly and beautiful art books are always available in stock. Location is easy to reach from nearby west 23rd st at 10th ave.

Claire Sherman's works are large beautiful landscape paintings which are essentially ruminations on light. Of course the Milton Avery's in the back room we're all beautiful and I've attached two photos.
