Thanks to Isaiah and the other brilliant instructors at Drive Rite, I no longer hate and fear getting into the driver's seat! If you're learning for the first time as an adult, like me, there's probably some baggage accompanying you into the car. Luckily, these teachers are absolute pros at staying focused and helping us through. I am on my way to getting my license at 40, a feat I never thought would be possible. Isaiah is a true gem. I have never met anyone so calm and unflappable. His motto is "take it one block at a time," which is true wisdom for life on and off the road. Thank you, Drive Rite!

Drive Rite Academy is the best driving school out there. I only had 3 lessons in total, but I say this with confidence. My instructor is Crystal and driving with her is fun and relaxing. I was so scared during my first lessons, but Crystal had me laughing and relaxed within minutes. I was literally laughing when we took this picture. If you want to have fun while learning how to drive I suggest this academy and any of the instructors. I might be biased but if you are signing up for lessons choose Crystal!!

Drive Rite Academy (Bk) is AMAZING!!! The staff is pleasant and Professional. I purchased the Beginner Package for my daughter and Rasim has been so helpful with deciding on packages, booking lessons and all my questions throughout. The Instructors are Top Notch (experienced). Thank you to Instructors Greg, Isaiah, Stephan & Nate for your expertise & patience. My daughter has become a more relaxed and confident driver. She PASSED her Road Test the 1st time (Beverly site). Thanks again everyone!

Jason is a terrible instructor he clearly doesn’t like what he is doing or may have some other personal issues . I have been stuck taking lessons with him since he is the only one who has very early class but I made a huge mistake sticking with him and just now cancelling all my lessons with him and trying to change my schedule so that I can book with other instructor(s). Every seconds I spend driving With him has been torture and makes me regret choosing this school . Every student is different and has their own comfort level but he will not correct you say and everything he thought he argues with you saying that why are you doing things this way while he is the one who has thought from the very begin I never had lesson with anyone but him. I realized if I don’t try to find a way to book other instructor this will a deficit to me. Imagine spending 45 mns with someone arguing with you only telling how terrible you are doing and not helping you identify it. If I spend a month in between lesson certain things escape me because I work full time and in graduate school I had finals I had no lesson in May but today after hearing all the negative comments I just stayed silent and said nothing and was checking the clock to see when this nightmare will end . Instructors should have empathy instructors should identify their student strengths and weaknesses and help them become better/ confident driver . I want to take those classes to pass a test but to also be a confident driver . I said that because one of his comment was by now you should know but with all do respect i am here to make mistake but for you to help. I truly truly regret choosing this school because I was going to go with a different but stick to this one but Jason made my experience so unpleasant I really hate driving because when I take my 45 mns lesson it is the only time I get to practice and everytime I have to practice with him which give me anxiety and makes me hate it . My package will expire in the next couple months I hope the other instructors will be better but my advise if it doesn’t feel right after the first lesson please try a different instructor or maybe take single class so you are not stuck in a package like I am . Advise to the owner of those school please do better at picking instructors find out says to determine if they are meeting the school...

I would like to thank Drive Rite for helping me pass my road test and achieving the privilege to my driver's license. Thank you for your great instructors, customer services, and more. I would like to thank Karlvin, Jason, Jonathan S, and Jonathan A for their guidance and instruction. Thanks, Jason, for activating the assertiveness and boss attitude in me for driving. Although I didn't like how you did your critiques, I appreciated them in my own interpretation. Jonathon S., I liked how chill you were in guiding me, but please, and this goes for everyone, don't be afraid to be brutally honest with me from the start. You don't have to nag but give an overall conclusion or current status (which you did, but I think you should fine tune that). I felt that at some point, I had a false sense of security (not that much), which blindsided me when my next instructor gave me a slew of critiques. That was upsetting, considering my previous lessons. Jonathan A, thanks for waiting and transporting me and other takers of the road test to and back from the site. You were very wise. I appreciated your thorough and repeated guidance and tips on the way to and right before our exam. Your many examples and instructions were clear and helpful. Your stories were nice. Though you were very focused on our objectives, you exuded warm and hospitable traits. Thank you. Now, very special thanks to David for the lessons I've had with him and for the pre-licensing course as well. David was really my favorite from the start and, to the end, never disappointed. He was calm and encouraging, but he didn't shy away from directly telling me where I went wrong. The way he spoke to me really demonstrated his control and experience, which created a suitable atmosphere for learning. I will never forget your parking trick/tips. You were a major component, I can't thank you enough.

Overall, thanks once again, Drive Rite, for instructing me. It was a pleasure. I leave it open that if need be, I would use this company again.

I procrastinated this for a while (just about 3 weeks). 4.7 if I could...

I took several driving lessons with different instructors throughout the month of August 2021. Ultimately, I passed my road test. I felt Drive Rite had a big part to play in me passing. Here's my opinion on my instructors:

Loubens - I had him for one lesson. He was calm but did very little teaching. He mostly just told me whether I would have lost points on my road test based on my maneuvers. This would have been fine if it were my 5th lesson, but I made it clear to him at the beginning that this was my first lesson and that I hadn't driven in 10 years. Even after saying this, he let me drive without giving much instruction. When practicing parallel parking, after screwing up once or twice, he told me that I needed a system to help me park instead of helping me learn a system. I would avoid Loubens unless you're confident and just want a mock road test.

Lenet - I had him for several lessons. He was animated, and he taught me a lot. He was clear with his advice and made sure each lesson was in a different area, so I got practice in a variety of locations. I tossed a ton of questions his way, and he always had a clear answer.

Crystal - I had her for only one lesson. At this point, I was pretty confident, and we mostly did a mock road test. She was calm, and she had a lot of helpful, practical advice for the road test.

Donovan - I had him for my last lesson the day before the road test. He was awesome. Even thought it was only one lesson, I could tell he was a great teacher. I thought I had learned everything I could up to that point, but he still taught me a few things that were valuable for the road test. He was calm, happy to answer questions, and teaching throughout the entire lesson. He was also extremely clear and precise with his instruction. Gave me a lot of confidence going into...
