I used to visit Euro Market years ago, but because the store is very messy and cluttered, so I stopped coming in. Last week, I stopped in because I needed a quick breakfast and bought a packaged croissant. As I was eating the croissant on the train, I noticed half of it was covered in dark green mold. When I called Euro Market to notify them about the moldy food, the woman who answered the phone was extremely defensive and said "NO THATS NOT TRUE", she then gave the phone to the manager, who said "There is mold because its hot and humid outside". I told him that's no excuse for selling moldy food. They did not offer to fix the problem, or show any type of concern about checking the other expired/moldy food packages. Unfortunately, I had to file a complaint with the NYC Department of Health. Hopefully they will get things under control since they do have a good selection of European products.

I’ve been buying canned milk here for my 2 year old niece and she started getting really sick. The other night she threw up and I checked all the expiration dates on my food. Turns out the canned milk I was buying from here was expired!!!!! I went to the store to tell the girl and she told me they will take it off the shelf. I went back a few days later to see if they got new canned milk and it was the same expired milk but the expiration date was a sticker that the store put on!!!!!!! The old expiration date was scratched off and they put a sticker saying it was good for a year!

The girl behind the counter completely rude. Crushed a small egg for my son that I added last minute. I said thank you, have a nice day, nothing back. I was in at 10:05am 7/24/2022 It is sad, this used to be my favorite store when I lived here 10 years ago. What did I do to you? I'm coming in to replace this and It's going to be the same girl that replaced it. Makes me want to come in and keep adding one more thing to a bag, over and over again, then go, no actually I don't want any of this, see you later. Maybe I do that instead.

As someone who came to NYC from Serbia, Euro Marker is like a church to me. Here, shoppers from the entire Balkan region will be able to find all those items they used in their home countries. From washing detergents, beers and meat products to sweets, jams and sodas made back home. Prices are reasonable and employees are always in a good mood and willing to help. I highly recommend this place!
