I was looking for a unique event space to hold a very important client event also hosting our executive team from London and the US. I was fortunate enough to find The Glass Houses. I went to visit the venue and it was beyond amazing - floor to ceiling windows and a perfect open space to design your own unique look. The space was immaculate and as a matter of fact they were washing the outside and inside windows and polishing the floor when I visited! (That's a great thing ;)
I met with Perry who was beyond AMAZING! He set me up with caterers, AV provider who were also AMAZING (Thomas Preti Caterers and PAV Pro Installations). We needed a special set up for a business meeting /cocktail reception after and in 2 minutes Perry showed me exactly how he could lay it out perfectly.
Fast forward to the day of my event - I arrived about 5 hours before the event start and the room was already set-up and Perry's team were waiting for me. In addition Dave from PAV Pro was already set up and waiting for me. My linens and floral were delivered and my catering /staff had just arrived. I can't help using the word AMAZING over and over in this review because when I say I had to worry about nothing for this event it is an understatement.
Everything was seamless and perfect an hour before my guests were scheduled to arrive.
My guests and executives were so impressed with the venue that they all commented multiple times throughout the night. I looked like a hero and it's all thanks to Perry and his team (and his exceptional vendors)..

In closing, I have done Events for many years for a very prestigious company and I will tell you that there is nothing like holding an event at such a professional venue - they take client satisfaction to the next level and this was by far the best and most seamless event I have ever planned. GENERAL OVERVIEW: We hopped on a call with Perry 10 days before our event and gave him an overview of our needs. He had us in contact with an AV company and caterer by the end of the day. Anything we needed, Perry was able to get it for us at a great price (caterer, AV, beverage, furniture, etc.).
This is truly a unique event space. Spectacular New York views. The space itself is sleek, modern, and clean. The great thing about this space is it’s gorgeous as it comes, or you can totally customize it since it’s a blank canvas.
DETAILED OVERVIEW: We had a morning corporate event followed by an evening social event and we had 10 days to plan it all. We gave Perry a call and he was ready to get to business the second he answered. We utilized the 21st floor as our main event space and the 14th floor as a green room and interview space. Perry has chairs, stools, and high tops available to rent in-house that are in great condition and provided a modern clean look to our event. Perry and his team were always available when needed. They were flexible with us whether it was a last-minute beverage order, our branding company coming in to setup, last minute room setup changes, etc. They were always there to help with a smile on their face.
After the morning corporate event on the 21st floor, we had to flip the room over to host a social event that would take place a few hours after. I gave Perry a timeline and his staff were standing by ready to make the necessary moves. The Glasshouse team was always around to check on us to make sure our event was running smooth. We had executives and VIPs in attendance and they were all very pleased with the outcome.

Read moreWe recently had our wedding at the Glasshouses, and it was a beautiful and incredible event. We looked at 5 other venues in the city, and they just didn't compare to the Glasshouses. We had around 140 people with a sit down dinner on the 14th floor and the reception on the 21st floor. The views from both floors are unobstructed, stunning, and inclusive of all of Manhattan. The space is very clean, and honestly doesn't require much decore - let the views and the city lights work for you!
Even with the beautitful space and views, the best thing about Glasshouses is the manager, Perry, and his wonderful staff. From our first visit, Perry was nothing but patient, helpful, and fun. He made the reception planning experience as enjoyable and stress free as possible. He lined us up with a caterer, helped with the furniture rentals, gave me advice and a great price on a wine upgrade, etc. He was there the entire evening, and he really cared about making sure everything went well.
