Been coming to this laundromat since it opened and have loved it since. There is a ton of machines both drying and wash ready to be use so there’s no fighting over them. For the most part it’s always clean. I notice when it’s busy that’s when it gets the dirtiest like the floors with detergent or powder so I wish there would be someone cleaning during those busy times. The card machines are great, the space is great cus you have your clothes washing or drying and quickly can go buy stuff at the surrounding stores. This is my only complaint. PRICING the washing machine prices are decent, could for sure go up maybe like 3-5 minutes for washing time. It’s like $4 for small wash (25mins) $6 for medium wash (29mins). It would be nice if these machines were washing for at least 30 mins. And Ik you can add extra rinse but when you do the price goes up. So then you are spending an extra $1 on the washing machines. The biggest complaint is drying time! It’s 45 cents for 6 minutes!!!!! Any other laundry mat on average would be 25cents for 5/6mins. I can’t find justification for that ratio knowing that it takes about at least 20 minutes to dry an average size load. That would be about $2 you are spending on drying time. Imagine if you are washing for your whole family at least 4-6 loads! It would be nice for the owners to be understanding that now a days everything is going up on pricing. And I know laundromats are one of the most profitable businesses out there. It would be nice for them to be more considerate about the drying time pricing ratio. I think 9 minutes for that 45 cents would be a good ratio. I would love to continue coming to this laundromat cus it’s so convenient and I genuinely like this place. But i get so frustrated at the pricing/time ratio. I hope they consider...
Read moreThis is the laundry I come to regularly, I was here on Sat, Mar 22 from 10:10 PM to 11:20 PM. I came with my parents this time and I have never had a bad experience in this laundry. On to my experience: We arrived to the laundry and noticed that there's casually kids running around and it's not a problem because tbh they are just kids so it's not a matter to brag about. But there's one particular employee that always has her daughter there when she's working. My interaction was not with the child but with the mother aka the employee during this shift. We put our clothes to wash and dry comfortably like we always do but this time the lady was nonstop looking and starring at my mother and at a point we caught her starring and making faces at us even tho we hadn't had an interaction with her the whole time we were there. Another thing is that I don't know if they have a policy that allows you to let your friends and family come sit behind the main desk, eating and drinking (no alcohol involved). And I know this might be not the best reason to leave a bad review but coming from a business owner myself. I can say that it's unprofessional to have this kind of treatment for customers and more importantly coming from an employee that represents the company/store. This is the type of thing that I feel that should be changed at least in this very establishment. I intend this to be the last time I come to this laundry. They have most certainly lost a customer and also the respect I had for the staff. Seems like the store is not so good...
Read moreLaundryBee in Maspeth has become my go-to spot for laundry, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The facility is impeccably clean. The floors are spotles, and there's never any lingering odors or lint buildup that you often find at other laundromat.
As a night shift nurse, their 24/7 hours are a lifesaver. I can do laundry at 3 AM on the many nights I can't sleep without any issues. Ample parking is also a major plus. They accept both cash and cards, and you can link your laundry card to your phone for cycle alerts.
The machines are well-maintained and reliable. I've never encountered an out-of-order unit, and the equipment appears relatively new. Multiple washer sizes and temperature settings, plus dryers that consistently deliver actually dried clothes.
The value is excellent with competitive prices for Queens, and large capacity washers thT are cost-effective for bigger loads.
The staff deserves special recognition for being genuinely helpful, quick to assist with issues, and maintaining a friendly atmosphere. When I left detergent behind, an employee held it for my next visit, although that may be because of how often I...
