I recently had the pleasure of visiting Tabernacle Steakhouse. I cannot stop raving about the extraordinary experience I had there. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I was greeted with warmth, attention, and a level of service that truly set this restaurant apart. It was evident that the staff at this establishment were not only well-trained but were also treated exceptionally well by the management team.
The attentive and friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our visit was outstanding. From the moment we were seated, we were promptly offered refreshing beverages and given ample time to peruse the menu. The servers here displayed an extensive knowledge of the dishes, confidently recommending various options and answering all our queries without hesitation.
Throughout the evening, the staff effortlessly maintained a seamless flow of service, ensuring our glasses were never empty and the courses arrived promptly. Despite the restaurant being busy, the team remained attentive and professional, taking care to make us feel valued and attended to. It was evident that they genuinely enjoyed their work, contributing to a vibrant and pleasant atmosphere throughout the dining area.
However, what truly impressed me was the level of teamwork and respect displayed by the staff. Their interactions with each other were filled with camaraderie and mutual support, revealing a strong bond within the team. This synergy directly translated into a well-orchestrated dining experience for us, where everyone played their part flawlessly.
Furthermore, little gestures, such as the staff periodically checking in on us to ensure our satisfaction, demonstrated their dedication to customer service. Their genuine smiles, thoughtful recommendations, and willingness to accommodate special requests created an aura of approachability and friendliness that enhanced our overall dining experience.
As a customer, I truly believe that how well the staff are treated reflects their commitment and passion towards delivering exceptional service. The incredible team at Tabernacle exemplified this notion flawlessly, leaving no doubt that they were valued, supported, and empowered by their management.
In conclusion, my visit to Tabernacle Steakhouse was an absolute delight, thanks in large part to the phenomenal service demonstrated by the staff. It is incredibly refreshing to witness a restaurant where the culture of respect, support, and appreciation for the team translates into a remarkable dining experience for guests like myself. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone in search of an exquisite culinary journey coupled with unparalleled service.
Thank you to the management and staff @Tabernacle for an unforgettable dining experience. You have set the bar high and I cannot wait to...
Read moreI brought my fiance to try this new place out. From the start, we were impressed with how the front of the house staff were dressed -- like a style that hadn't even been invented yet, but that was quite appealing. They were warm and inviting and we were shown to our table immediately, despite being 20 minutes early.
Alonzo came over and told us the special for the evening (Dover sole) but I don't eat fish and my fiance was planning on having steak, so we didn't pay much attention to that. The menu was only two pages, so that was nice -- simple yet elegant. There was a steak available for $270...I wonder if that's 3.55x as delicious as the $76 steak I ended up ordering.
We asked which appetizers were recommended and Alonzo mentioned something about the flanken, so we went for that, along with charcuterie board. When they arrived, boy were we disappointed! The charcuterie board was empty -- a bunch of slices of tasteless, paper-thin who knows what kind of meat and then jerky. No salamis or sausages or steak or pickles. There were some very large cracker-like things. Bland and boring and do not make the the mistake of getting this. The flanken was in a wine sauce, and was tough. So it was odd that Alonzo had recommended it. So far, things were not doing well in the food department, although the staff was very nice and helpful. The cocktail was small for $18, but it is an expensive restaurant even as kosher goes, so who knows the standard price protocol for these things.
The entrees came and things changed from there. I got the rib eye, which was really, really tasty, and my fiance got the hangar steak, also really tasty. Both were cooked perfectly as requested. Sides were an issue. You need to order sides separately, and there were only 5 available -- fries, mushrooms, collard greens, potato wedges and spaghetti squash. At $14 each, you'd think they would be amazing. The fries I thought were very good, but the collard greens were bitter and mush.
For dessert we got donuts with chocolate sauce and pear sauce. The donuts, which are really donut holes, were surprisingly much better than we thought they would be. The chocolate was very rich (which I liked) and the pear sauce was very sweet (which my fiance did not like). We also got some cappuccinos, which were much, much better than we expected, and much better than in most other places we had eaten.
My fiance's rating = 78% My rating = 85%
She liked Bordeaux and The Loft better. Her comments were "this place was good, but not good enough to go back to." If they get better appetizers, I'd say it's worth it to go back just for the waitstaff, which I found to be uber...
Read moreWent to Tabernacle tonight and had an incredible time. I went with a group of about 15 friends from work and were served in their upstairs party room. The ambiance was beautiful and the service was second to none. We got our own customized 3 course prix fixe menu for the evening and multiple of all the dishes listed were brought to the table for everyone to share. While I didn't have the traditional experience of ordering from the regular menu this allowed me to sample a wider variety of their offerings which I would not have been able to do otherwise.
Fireball Mixed Drink - Ordered this at the recommendation of a friend and it was excellent. It comes with a cool bonus fire show presentation at the beginning. The drink itself is a sweet cinnamon flavored bourbon mix. Think of red hots candy in a glass.
1st Course: Caesar Salad - Excellent salad with a slightly acidic lemony caesar dressing that really complemented it nicely. I finished the whole salad even though I knew I had a lot more to come Tuna Tartare - WOW! Honestly I have never had tuna tartare before and probably would have never ordered it, but I think I may have actually enjoyed this appetizer the most out of all the dishes tonight. Highly recommend you try it.
Main Course: Roast Chicken - Juicy and Delicious Boneless Ribeye - Perfectly spiced and cooked to a nice pink medium rare. Hanger Steak - Much more lean than the ribeye but with a stronger flavor. Would definitely order this again, it was delicious. Spaghetti and Meatballs - With all the other amazing meat I didn't eat much of this but I did taste it and was extremely impressed. Was a very high class dish Fries - Crispy and perfectly seasoned
Dessert: Fondue - With 15 friends sitting around 5 different fondue pots this was a great way to end the night. All the fruit was super fresh and sweet and the chocolate fondue was amazing! All the pastries are made in house even the marshmallows which were delicious and nothing like you get out of a package! Donuts - Freshly fried and coated in powdered sugar and then dip them in the accompanying chocolate sauce. Whats not to love?
All around a truly 5 star experience. Props to Rick and Aron running the show and all the amazing wait staff who were super attentive and courteous.
P.S. Bonus Tip (if you read until now you deserve it) - If you make your reservation for 7PM and come a few minutes early, you can get on street parking right in front of the restaurant. ...
