NY Med — Attraction in New York

I recently underwent surgery and was referred to NYMed for pain management for post surgical care. I cannot thank Ria, Raymond, Theresa and their staff enough for the exceptional care I received.

From the moment I walked through the door, I felt comfortable and welcomed. Theresa was knowledgeable, friendly, and always took the time to listen to my questions and concerns. They went above and beyond to ensure that my recovery was as smooth and pain free as possible.

Throughout the course of my care, I received a comprehensive treatment plan that included a variety of techniques and approaches to manage my pain. Raymond took the time to explain each step of the process, easing my worries, and increasing my confidence in the care I was receiving.

I am so grateful to Ria and the entire staff at NYMed for their exceptional care during my recovery. Thanks to their expertise and compassion, I am on the road to a full recovery, and I couldn't have done it without them.

I highly recommend Ria and the staff at NYMed (Jennifer, kevin, cheery, Robert, Norvin and Manik) to anyone in need of pain management care. From the courteous staff to the outstanding care provided, this team truly goes above and beyond to make their patients feel comfortable and well cared for.

If I could give 0 stars I would . I see the front desk girls are treated bad and spoken to badly by the Spanish looking guy who I believe based on clothes is a manager , his name start with a N. I always hear the girls complain about how they are being picked on or spoken to in ways that make them feel uncomfortable and I came on separate occasions trying to schedule an appointment to see the providers and all occasions I been denied and sitting in waiting area more that 1 hr each time and I never get a straight answer as to why I can not see the providers it’s always oh they’re about to leave for the day. When I want to speak with the manager it’s always he’s not here. Ive only came more than once because of the good reviews as well as referrals but this is not it. Who are the owners because I want to report this to BBB. There are violations of hippa being made , I hear patients information being spoken about in the waiting area while other patients are around . Why take advantage of your staff and get away with it ?. If anyone ever need a witness come back to this review and I will gladly show what I have been recording . I also noticed old faces are gone which would raise a red flag and does not make me feel safe as a patient . This place needs new...

This place is only concerned with Comp money they have no concern about pt.’s pain/discomfort. No concern or respect for your time. They treat this as a game. NY MED some people are really suffering this is not a game. No compassion!!! Dirty Business!! So sorry I got hurt!

So, after writing the above review, I stayed away for a few weeks. On my return to the site Nigel the office manager sought me out. He told me who he was and indicated that he read my review and wanted to gain a better understanding of my of Frustrations. I explained to him the issues I had scheduling a Dr’s appointment and the extended wait I experienced. He apologized and gave me some insight as to why they operate the way they do.
