Called them to get an appointment and said that I need any barber, since it was my first time, when I came the door was closed so I had to call them so they could open the door, then when I came in the barber was waiting for me, he told me to sit and when I told him that all I need is the front up to eyebrows and the sides a little shorter so it would match the front, all he did was just cut straight in front and I got a bowl cut, so when I told him why is he doing this since it’s gonna be like a bowl cut, and he said it’s not gonna be and I trusted him but by the end he was done it’s just a bowl cut 1-3 inches above eyebrows and the sides are too short, I can’t even do anything about these, even when my mom was doing the front for me she did better then them, also he kept on dropping scissors and other stuff on the floor that also got me concerned if he actually knows how to do his job, also they kept on doing stupid jokes about Elon Musk and watching the Infinity Wars while cutting my hair. In conclusion horrible barbershop horrible haircut and horrible jokes that was my...
Read moreBy far the best barber shop out there. They go above and beyond for you. The shop itself is a place like Vegas. What happens there stays there. It’s a therapy session. Joe’s scissors snip to the beat of his jokes. "Ever hear about the guy who cut his own hair? He made a real split decision!" Need a beard trim? Get ready for Joe’s monologue about beard maintenance-it's funnier than most Netflix specials. And the best part? The complimentary drinks. Order a "Hairy Mary" or a "Barber-ini" while Joe crafts your masterpiece. Just beware: the stronger the drink, the more adventurous the cut. Trust me, left with a mohawk after two. I’d recommend this shop to my kids if they weren’t flushed down the drain or traveling through the intestines. Promise you, the wait is worth it. -chat GPT Kidding. For real though. This is definitely one of the best barber shops in NY. Check out Business Insider. They are top 10 barbers in NY. And their pricing is...
Read moreGreat haircut… horrible experience. This is the second time that I’ve been in the middle of “locker room talk” amongst the barbers… but this last time crossed a line. Lots of jokes about objectifying women and even a joke that someone should have taken their pants off for Diddy. If that’s what these guys are comfortable saying in front of their clients, I don’t want to know what’s said after hours. I opted not to respond during the cut because I don’t like pushing back against someone who is using a razor blade on my head.
There are some really talented barbers here… that I have no desire to support anymore. I had 1 really awesome guy a few months ago who didn’t have to make horrible jokes to earn a tip, but I don’t want to support a company that thinks and acts like these men did. Go somewhere else. NYC has plenty of good barbers that don’t have to spew garbage when they cut your...
