Playground 116 - Morningside Playground — Attraction in New York

Nice little spot for little ones 6 mos to 5 years, with enough to keep them occupied -- if they're into swings, slides and lots of climbing. After age 5, though, it might be a tougher sell unless they're doing a playdate or group thing, as it's really geared towards the younger set. Becomes something of a mini-water park in the summer when the sprinklers are on -- kind of. Sat on Morningside Drive on a Street facing bench ..I didn't necessarily participate in playground shenanigans. The street side bench I occupy abutts playground 116 I suppose... there is a quiet and unexpected ambiance about it for a Friday afternoon...
