Walgreens — Local services in New York

Wait line to pay is a struggle most of the time as there is only one cashier, rarely two. Recently, a pretty big line formed due to the only cashier at the time having to spend some time with a costumer; I was the next on line and had been patiently waiting for some good 7-10 mins. Then another cashier opened up on another side and I did not notice them calling the next on line as I was on a phone call until the customers behind me told me so. I apologized for my lack of attention, but it bothered me greatly that this new cashier was rolling their eyes at me when I started walking towards them, and then was also not paying attention to the sale as they asked me for my phone number or rewards card twice when I had told them I did not have one right after they asked for it and actively skipped it on the screen. I understand I did not respond right away, but I had been waiting for long and was pretty chill about it; thus, I believe that due to those 5 seconds I wasted, I did not deserve to be looked at...

I usually have no problems with this store but I just went through a sensitive ordeal with them when getting the pill. The morning after pill is not something you want to advertise but after holding up a line with a manufacturer coupon for something that sensitive is very embarrassing. The manager claimed it was a copy, fake and illegal. I explained how I had to print it from my computer because the instructions say so since I'm not supposed to keep it after I use it because it's a one time use and they are supposed to stay with it. She treated me like a crook and I shop there all the time. She didn't even bother to scan it to show me it if it wouldn't work. I took my business elsewhere. Not sure what the name of the manager is but next time just say we don't accept this coupon here than treating someone in such a disrespectful way. I left and went to CVS where I had no issues...

I arrived at the store at 10:40, 20 minutes before the store closes. As I was walking in I was told by a worker that the store was closed. When I asked what time the store closes, she rudely replied, “Now”. When I told her their store doesn’t close for 20 minutes, she again rudely replied l, “we’re closed now”, we only have two workers. Mind you there were only 2 customers in the store. I proceeded to enter the store and she told me, “I’m gonna tell him not to cash you out.” I proceeded to shop and got to the register around 10:45 and was told, “I can’t cash you out.” I asked why and was told it was because the worker told me the store was closed and I still entered. From then I basically had to beg them to allow me to pay for a birthday card and gift bag for my wife. I’ve never experienced something so...
