New Lucky Star — Restaurant in New York

I called for delivery and they told me my location was too far. I explained that I was only 10 minutes away but she told me that she doesn’t know the zip code. I don’t even leave reviews tbh but there aren’t many places to order from around here so I’m not sure why she couldn’t have used google to see I was only 10 minutes away like okkkk edit: since i was upset when i wrote this, i forgot to mention the 3 separate times she hung up on me. The first was when I said “I’m so sorry, let me double check my address right now.” 2 minutes later I hear a dial tone. The next time I call back, she answers and hangs up. Then I call again and ask if we got disconnected. She sucks her teeth, raises her voice a little and says I “don’t know my address.” I apologize if my review seems dramatic but it really was a bad experience beginning to end. I also don’t comprehend how you don’t deliver to a location 10 minutes away. Do you only deliver to your next door...

I’m walking by the restaurant and I hear yelling, so since I’m Chinese I was being little nosey as I’m hearing my native tongue.. let’s just say I regretted listening in, I believe that all places have the freedom to speak in whatever language they want too. But if you’re insulting someone because you know they won’t understand you then blatantly laugh In there face, just because of your menu on your website is outdated is not okay to me. To call that person names or cheap or slurs aimed at there race, especially a customer who seems like a regular by what they were saying to one another another Chinese person.. you should all be ashamed...

Food is good, delivery is fairly quick. But we have ordered from there twice and both times they forgot the fries we ordered. The first time when we called, they knew and the guy came back. Second time, we called and they said they would send them back or give us the fries next time. We told them we wanted them on this delivery. Said they would send the guy back out. Never showed.
