The venue looks like something coming right from a horror movie, with terrible dark colors on the walls and ceiling and bright red, shinny, cheap looking drapes. I couldn't immagine something more horrible! It was no winter/Christmas decoration, no plants, no flowers, nothing inviting! They organized an event a few days ago, with no crowd management, I would even consider that a life hazard! They have no excuse because a registration was requiredso they could track the exact number of people. The AC was not working, the temperature and lack of oxygen inside being unbearable. The enteance was overwhelm with an winter-coat stand carrying a mountain of coats, and at the end of the performance, on a narrow hallway a big line of people waiting for a sip of wine was blocking the circulation of the others. Also, the microphon did not sound clear when the host was speaking and the whole decor was a screen located on the back of the singers and a projector located in front of the singers, therefore on some parts we could see the shadow of their body... The images on the screen, of course, had not much to do with the lyrics of the songs being from a "different movie". I have invited a friend from a different country, to join me, but I couldn't feel more embarrassed to introduce her to such a chaotic mess!!! Hopefully someone în charge with such events will read this comments and do something about this terrible situation! În terms of the performance, they invited a group of young and talented singers, with beautiful voices, singing a wonderful selection of Broadway and Christmas songs! Too bad they couldn't be seen performing on a decent and more appropriate...
Read more-I have the worst opinion of the Romanian Cultural Institute, announce a library that does not exist, do not answer the phone to arrange a visit. They do not have a digital catalog as they claim to have, they do not have staff assisting in "the library" .... also as a Latino I felt discriminated against in the first cultural activity I attended. Despite being skin-white was not enough, only being Spanish-speaking made me feel ashamed. In short, I lost my time.
