This has to be the worst haircut and blowout of my life. It was my first time there so I showed Michael FOUR photos of what I wanted: just a TRIM and loose beachy waves with long layers. He cut my hair way too short (well above my shoulders when it was well past my shoulders.....I cried after I left) and he gave me tight ringlet curls that made me look like Shirley Temple. I sat patiently during the curling process because he told me he would pull them apart at the end for the loose wave look, but obviously that didn't work. Even the other hairdresser who checked me out after told me how different I looked when all I wanted was a trim and wavy blowout. It was a horrible experience. I ran home and washed my hair immediately and had to blow it out myself. Will have to grow it out for months now to get it back to the length I wanted....

I heard about this place because I complemented my friend’s layers, and she told me to come to Dazzle and ask for David. I did and I can confirm— This place is amazing!!!!! AND ITS THE CHEAPEST HAIRCUT IVE EVER HAD. I can’t rave about this place enough. I have long brown hair, and used to have a fear of haircuts after so many hair dressers cut wayy shorter than I asked. I used to go over a year between haircuts, but I enjoy and trust David so much that I have started going every 10-12 weeks. I Literally think I would trust that man with my life lol. He REALLY listens and knows what he’s doing. They always recognize me, every time after my first visit—it’s one of the few places in the city that feels like home to me. $25 for a wash/cut/dry, expertise, amazing listening, good people, and a great price. I went to Michael for a bang trim, haircut and root touch up of blond hair. Communicating with Michael was super easy. He understood what I needed easily and clearly. He patiently listened to my needs and wishes. I could not be happier with my haircut and my hair color. My hair gets very brassy, I came with my hair being a total orange mess and came out with perfect hair. The haircut I got was easy to style at home later. My blowout lasted for days. The color is perfect. The post color treatment left my hair nice and soft too even after I washed it at home. You can really see many years of Michael's experience, it's just something you can't fake. He's a professional. He is also great to talk to. Anyway, I couldn't be happier and more grateful.
