I brought in a painting I basically commissioned when I was in Africa, it was on some canvas-like material and needed to be re-stretched, which i procrastinated on for far too long. 5 months later to my horror, as i started unrolling it, the paint began cracking. I decided then and there to take it to get re-stretched that weekend and found Decor Art online. It had good reviews so I went with it. Yosof and his staff not only did a great job re-stretching it, but to my surprise, gave it some extra special love and basically restored it. He said they sprayed water (some other solvent) on the back multiple times and did their magic to repair the cracked paint!! I swear you can't even tell it ever happened, and I was beyond elated! I brought in a total of three pieces for re-stretching (one of the pieces I nabbed in Cuba, and Yosof absolutely loved it. We sat and chatted about it a lot, which was actually really informative) and I had two of the three framed. The framing really made the pieces complete, and everything turned out top quality. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, and will be returning next time I need any framing or re-stretching done for my art! Yosof goes above and beyond to give the best possible service! He spent so much time looking through prints with me making sure I got the right sizes and made excellent recommendations for frames- he convinced me to use a black frame for one piece of artwork instead of rust and white for another piece instead of black, and he was so right! He went the extra mile and not only printed out great quality pictures for me, but changed the glass on some frames I bought myself, and cut certain photos to make sure they fit those frames perfectly. So glad he was there to guide me and that I listened to him. He is always so warm, friendly, and eager to help and even delivered the frames free of charge. He also gives great prices, I'm so happy I walked in his store!...

I worked in fine art shipping and logistics so I am pretty selective about who I work with to handle my pieces and I am glad I put my trust into Decor Art Gallery. The painting I brought in was showing its age and to be honest I was worried about how it would look framed, but the team did an excellent job matting and framing the work to highlight its beauty, while covering the less desirable edges. The framing was done very well and I can’t wait to hang it up in my home! The pricing was reasonable, especially for the quality.
