I first stumbled across this pizzeria on a visit to NYC in 2018, and had to eat here again when I was in town yesterday. As someone from the Southeast, it has been a revelation to taste real New York pizza. It's within convenient walking distance of Penn Station, and the dining area is a cozy space with ample views of the city streets. Food and atmosphere are both top notch. I had one slice of the mushroom, pepperoni and olive, and one slice of the vegetable (pictured), but you really can't go wrong with any of the toppings options.

241028 Recently on a trip to NYC my son and I stopped in Bravo Pizza before we would be getting on the Vamoose Bus stop which is right across the street. The last time I had pizza here was back in 2012 when I would travel between NYC and Virginia regularly on the Vamoose Bus. The pizza is still good and worth stopping by and getting a few slices. The service is friendly and it was not crowded and plenty of seats due to the time of day we stopped in there (1620 in the afternoon).

Ran into Bravo for a quick lunch before my flight out of NY and ordered a veggie slice. I was excited for the slice, especially having visited the same pizza joint last year (looks like they underwent a name change / are under new management). The pizza was OK, slice was on the cold side and wasn’t as flavorful as I recalled from my previous visit. Prince’s Pizza is still my favorite - should have tried to get there instead.

First night in NY, decided to eat here with 3 friends based on the good reviews. We arrived at 9:40 PM, with the operating hours on Google saying they would be open until 11pm - only one table was occupied, and there was no one else in line. Within a minute of our arrival, and without even having a chance to look at the options we were already being rushed by one of them to pick something, saying they would close in 20 minutes. As two of us make the rushed order of a slice of pepperoni, we get an annoyed remark "are you all going to order pepperoni?" The cashier that got our drinks and took our payment after that was great and attentive, and the food was good, but the experience overall was unfortunately soured after our contact with the...

Best garlic knots in town, Just know that! While the entire staff is lovely, Vanessa at Bravo Pizza is a literal sweetheart and my GOAT. 🐐 🫶🏽

Imagine having a rough day and then someone just randomly radiates positivity onto you?! That’s exactly what happened during my last visit. I was sweating nonstop thanks to the heatwave, and having an off day when Vanessa was kind enough to offer me a complimentary water. That small gesture completely turned my day around. Sometimes it’s the little things, and her kindness really left an impression. Give the doll baby a raise for working...

My wife and I are on vacation in NYC, we are staying around the corner from this shop. We wanted some pasta so we decided to give Bravo a go. We got the Alfredo pasta with chicken, it was delicious and the serving size was very large, we also got some pizza slices one was a chicken and bacon with a ranch sauce, it was so good, the other had shrimp and was also very good. If your not use to New York pizza expect it to be oily. Service was quick and efficient and they didn't demand tip, although I was happy to give them one....
