Have been living here for quite sometime now (years) and this year they started construction in late March 2024 (with a notice coming out in April) till the end of the year. If you work from home regularly, DO NOT MOVE HERE, as the constant sound of drilling is unbearable, to the point where it sometimes rattles the apartment. Additionally, the management will ignore any issues that you have and will simply ask you to 'find another location' between 9-5, 5 days a week, for the 'better part of the year', no matter the fact that you actually pay rent and your office desk is in your apartment. Additionally you need to keep your blinds closed every day because there are workers tethered outside the building as well. They will also ignore any middle ground for residents that bring up this issue. It's a shame because the apartments are nice, and the front staff and concierge are very nice people but the management is the reason why it's a 2 star rating.
Response to the management's generic response: No thank you. I've already been communicating with the management directly and my review is based on their response.
2025 update : The loud work is still continuing till the summer (as we were informed again a week before...
Read moreWould not recommend living here - the management company lures tenants in with a teaser rent for the first year then jacks it up after the year concludes without providing any reasoning (happened to me and and a friend living in the building as well). They also don't allow flex walls to go to the ceiling and force you to use their own provider which has a wall design that wastes space. The staff are by far the most redeeming quality of the building and are incredibly user friendly. The amenities are subpar, with a tiny gym lacking basic equipment (but it s free), and a "roof deck" but on the fifth floor facing the Lincoln Tunnel. Apartments have stainless steel appliances but in terms of design everything is entry-level. Adequate if you're looking for a deal for one year to live in the city close to Times Sq but not...
Read moreI have lived in some of the top condo in Manhattan but got tired of paying 5-7k for a 1 bedroom. I was thinking of finally moving out of the city, and after viewing this unique looking building for 4 years, I decided to stop in, and was pleasantly surprised to see how nice it was inside.
I see the prior complaints about maintenance and management, and it is laughable. There was a period of time where they upgraded the elevators and it was definitely an inconvenience as they had to be upgraded one by one. Maintenance is EXTREMELY responsive and management is perhaps too responsive if that is a thing.
The staff is great, the doormen are all polite and friendly and there is a secure package room. Finally, the leasing department is honest and transparent, which is highly unusual for NYC and much...
