Terrible Experience (Lugar Malísimo) —Avoid This Place!

This was hands down one of the worst massage experiences I’ve ever had. The place is completely disorganized, making it impossible to relax. From the moment I arrived, it was a disaster.

I was left waiting on the massage table for my therapist, only for no one to show up. After waiting too long, I had to get dressed again and go to the front desk to ask what was going on. Instead of an apology, the receptionist just told me to go back and that “someone would be there soon.” At that moment, I knew I had made a huge mistake choosing this place.

When the massage finally started, it was awful. The therapist was clearly not skilled—barely putting any pressure and even yawning throughout the session. It felt like he had no idea what he was doing. By the end of it, I left without giving a tip, and to make things even worse, he actually stood by the door, blocking me from leaving. Unfortunately for the little man, I’m bigger than he is, so I immediately pushed the door open and told him to his face that he did a terrible job.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of better...

I was in New York City from June 23 to 25, 2022. Loved it. Loved the experiences. Stopped at this massage shop due some stubborn pain in my neck and back. The receptionist and staff were very nice and the service was exceptional. I was able to quickly get a one hour massage with Tom. He is a very pleasant and skilled at Chinese massage. He knew exactly what to do and have to give me some relief. I would highly recommend him. The next day after walking all over New York I returned to Tom for a 1/2 hour foot rub. Once again, very professional staff. I requested Tom once again and he didn't disappoint at all. He seemed to be able to sense my tolerance. I felt very good afterward and was ready to continue my adventure. The cost is very reasonable compared to smaller cities. This place is awesome. Located right in the middle of NYC on 9th Ave. It’s brand new. They are professional, kinda, and courteous. No funny business which is what I love, just a genuine massage therapy place. EXTREMELY reasonably priced - $55 for an hour massage - you can’t beat that especially for this location. Plus, they have a frequent visitor card that for every 10 visits you get your 11th free.

I will 100% be back. I had a male masseuse but they offer both. I am still sore but it’s the best kind of sore. He constantly asked me if the pressure was ok and focused on the areas I needed. They also have hot stones in the massage as well. Calming music and great ambiance.
