BEWARE FIND ANOTHER DENTIST! I was really excited for my visit here and I was looking forward to having an excellent teeth cleaning. While the receptionists are friendly and the hygienists are too. The dentist is not at all. The first thing he says when he sees me is to open my mouth and recommend that I buy Invisalign. Let's note, he didn't bother to ask if I had any previous work done or anything. When I let him know I have had orthodontic work, he starts criticizing my teeth and saying they are not good enough and I need more work. He then takes out a sheet of paper looks at it for two seconds and tells me the Invisalign will be 4,000 and I can go on a five month plan with very vague information. I had questions I wanted to ask before going through with such a large payment, but he only seemed to care about me giving an automatic yes and not help me understand the plan better.
When I asked for more info about paying this plan, he told me to go to the front desk to receive more information about it. I went to the two ladies up front whom were very helpful about it, but almost too helpful. At the end of asking about how much I would be paying, I realized that the information they were asking me for was not for their office, but approving me for a credit card. I had no knowledge I was having my line of credit run and I was highly upset once I found out that was the case. They insisted I sign an application form, and I told them I am young and need to ask my parents before signing any form. Immediately, one of the receptionists began to act like she didn't speak English well, when she spoke it perfectly fine before. I then had to call my grandmother to help me get the document back with all my personal information on it that they were forcing me to sign.
When trying to figure out why I was being forced to sign the information, they kept beating around the bush and informed me that "it doesn't matter if I signed this form, I can choose not to use the credit card and they will close the account". They already knew I was young because they mentioned my parents after running my credit (NOT BEFORE). They prey on young patients who come in and try to get them to sign up for things they know they are unsure of and act oblivious when the parents call.
So after all of this, I ask to please have the application form back because if its my credit card I should be the holder of the application form, not them. They refuse to give it to me and make a copy. I said a copy would not be good enough and that I needed the original.
I then get a bit frustrated and said, if you will not allow me to keep my original and copy I would like to cross my signature out. He then snatches the paper out my hand and holds it up in the air saying he will cross my signature out for me. I let him know that he is not authorized to make any changes to my signatures and that I should be doing so. Dr. Ripa finally gets fed up and then takes my copy and rips it up in my face and tosses it at me and tells me "here take it". I was in awe that a "Doctor" would act in such manner towards his patient and I began to take that behavior personal. I saw it as discriminatory and just. way out of line. I am now filing complaints with the appropriate offices, because after reading other negative reviews, I realized there was someone else with a similar story.
By the way, they bribe you with a free teeth whitening by asking to post a good review to Google. You only get the teeth whitening if the review is five stars. Attached is a photo of the ripped up paper he handed me. I have kept it just to upload to...

Read moreLetâs get real, nobody goes to a dental office for a pleasure. Some of us have fears from childhood traumatic memories of dental treatments or unpleasant experience in our past. Some of us have dental insurance or financial issues. Best of us do right things and get regular cleanings and treatments. Iâm one of the worst. I did not show my teeth to a dentist for over 20 years until it was almost too late. I choose Trump Village Dental for three reasons: it is in my insurance company network, my husband had a great experience there, and I liked reviews online. My experience was so good that I decided itâs my turn to share it. Any office starts with a front desk. Itâs clean. Receptionists are pleasant, polite, accommodating, and patient. They are professional in how they look, talk, answer the phone, and solve issues. I never waited more than 5-10 minutes. X-rays were done. Plan of care was discussed. Next appointment was scheduled (the office is open 7 days a week!). No time was wasted. Following visit â dental cleaning. It was done by Helen, an amazing dental hygienist with lightest hands possible. Every X-ray was reviewed and explained. Helen described in details what process led to my dental problems and what treatment is available and how it works. Provided education was clear and visual. I decided to do periodontal laser treatment, and despite all my fears and anxiety, my experience with it was very good. Helen gave me all support and breaks I needed during the procedure. I did not feel any pain. Post-procedure instructions were understandable and useful. In conclusion ... :) I highly recommend Trump...
