EDIT 11-18-2022 (Theater 2, seat G10): GOOD: Screen was big and clear. Sound quality was great too. Reserve seating available. Seats (supposedly) recline too with the press of a button.
BAD: Seat was in bad condition, sticky of previous people sweat (really disgusting) and with some area pealing off as well. The mechanism to recline was broken, and thus when I tried to adjust my seat to the desired position, the seat slowly tilted backward or forward, without me touching anything from the controls. There was a crying baby in the room, and nobody did anything about it, which wasted most of the movie's dialogues. People on their phone texting during the movies.
Funny enough, I had a similar bad experience with another AMC cinema, and the manager gave me a free ticket to give them another chance. For a place that charges almost $8 for a medium glass of soda, I was NOT impressed. And after movie theater claim that they provide a much better experience than watching movies at home. Yeah, right...
-- Previous review --- Great place with friendly staff and modern room to watch movies. All room have reserved seat that recline and are really comfortable too. Less star because the Imax room #1 does NOT have reclined seat, which I don't understand since is supposed to be the best room in the whole theater. Hope they fix this soon because it's a big turn off for people like myself who enjoy to watch a movie now in reserved seat that also recline. Because of this, I noticed that the Imax room was...
Read moreThe Good: Reclining seats Plenty of space between seats Cleanly Beer, wine, & mixed drinks for the movie! Wasn't too crowded (on Wed night)
The Bad: Awkward layout in the lobby Honestly went through to the movie without a ticket taker taking my tickets (bought them online)
The Ugly: Not too many stalls in the bathroom (from my wife)
To expand on going though without any ticket taker. We went in, waited in line to talk to someone and make sure we didn't need a printed ticket, but we double checked her e-mail and it said to just go to the ticket taker..... so we walked through to where the food court was and figured maybe the ticket taker was further in closer to the theater rooms. Nope, we walked all the way to the movie, no one ever checking if we had tickets (good thing we're stand up citizen's who prepayed for our tickets, lol)
Side note, there's multiple stations for tickets but the customer service there was so focused on one person at a time that none of them even told us to go to an open station and/or help us, which led to the previous stated event.
Overall, it's a nice theater and I will be back. It's really nice having so many theaters close by now and spreading out the crowds. Also, I'm thrilled that there is a wall behind each line of seats!!! The last three times I've gone to Century, I've had a little kid kicking my chair the WHOLE movie. Parents, smack your child in the leg please, that's just plain rude and they need to be checked into...
Read moreSo been coming here a long time absolutely love the theater. Purposely wait to get dinner there as there’s no sense in spending $80 at BJ’s or lazy dog if I can just spend $60 at the theatre and get some goodies there I’m assuming that is what they’re hoping with the Rewards program getting to see 3 moves a week and make money from the concession. We went today and I was so disappointed. I always look forward to their nachos and they recently changed vendors and the chips are gluten-free. Basically taste like cardboard with no salt and the cheese was even worse. It almost tasted sour. It didn’t have that nacho cheese flavour that use to get for a long time. Now I have not been to any other AMC so I’m not sure if this is systemwide or just here, but I understand that the industry is hurting and they’re trying to save money but if you bring in a cheaper quality product and people don’t buy it you’re kind of stepping over dimes to pick up nickels. I don’t think this post will actually do anything, but somebody needs to figure it out because been less than 5% of the population has issued with gluten I would not change product to be gluten-free as we are not going to get snacks at the movie theatres for the Health part of it a lot of times this is when people have their one cheat day or splurge and get something else I mean obviously we pay four times what it’s worth but we’d like it to be...
