Let me start off by saying, I am not a "shopping type" person. That distinction belongs to my husband. I don't do hot, crowded and expensive and let's face it, that's what malls are, not to mention dangerous these days, but Norfolk Premium Outlets is different. Built in a shopping center style instead of an enclosed mall, it feels less crowded. Lots of open spaces and overlooking a waterway, it is one of the most esthetically pleasing places I have been. While the food court is nothing to write home about, my favorite stop each time we go here is Jamba Juice. I love these refreshing concoctions like crack. I always try to get a new flavor each time and I am never disappointed. There is something about Jamba Juice that other juice places I've been too cannot touch. Not sure what it is, but they are even better than my homemade ones. The best alternative to a hot shopping trip. My husband got 3 pair of Pumas for less than $100 and he was downright giddy. Yes, I married a shoe jock junkie, if such creatures exist, he is the OG fo real doe! All in all it was a pretty great afternoon and pleasurable outing. Lots of laughter, fun and no mass shootings! It takes us a little over a half hour to get there, but worth the trip and the gas, so I encourage you to check it out.
