Having visited both the Northbend Premium Outlet and the Seattle Premium Outlets, we had the opportunity to compare these shopping destinations and evaluate their respective merits.
Starting with the Northbend Premium Outlet, located in North Bend, Washington, it offers a more compact and intimate shopping experience compared to its counterpart in Tulalip. The layout is straightforward, with a single outdoor shopping area that is easy to navigate. Although smaller in size, the outlet still boasts a decent selection of stores, including popular brands and a range of merchandise from clothing to accessories.
One advantage of Northbend Premium Outlet is its picturesque mountainous backdrop, creating a scenic environment while you shop. The outlet's outdoor setting also allows for a pleasant shopping experience during favorable weather conditions. However, it's worth noting that this may be less favorable in inclement weather, as there is minimal shelter between stores.
On the other hand, Seattle Premium Outlets, situated in Tulalip, Washington, offers a larger and more diverse selection of stores. It features a spacious indoor shopping area with a wide variety of brands, including high-end designer labels, well-known retailers, and specialty stores. The sheer number of stores at Seattle Premium Outlets provides shoppers with a broader range of options to explore and discover.
Seattle Premium Outlets also benefits from its convenient location, with easy accessibility from major highways and ample parking facilities. It is an ideal choice for those looking for a comprehensive shopping experience with numerous dining options and amenities on-site. The indoor setting of Seattle Premium Outlets offers a comfortable shopping environment regardless of weather conditions.
In terms of pricing and discounts, both outlets provide great deals and savings. However, Seattle Premium Outlets may offer a slightly larger selection of high-end brands, allowing for a greater chance of finding luxury items at discounted prices.
In summary, the choice between Northbend Premium Outlet and Seattle Premium Outlets depends on individual preferences and priorities. Northbend offers a more compact, scenic outdoor experience, while Seattle Premium Outlets provides a larger selection of stores, convenient amenities, and a sheltered indoor shopping environment. Both outlets offer excellent opportunities for finding discounted products, allowing shoppers to enjoy their shopping experience while...
Read moreIn terms of the variety of shops and the draw of the mall itself, I'd call this place average. It's clean and well-maintained, no question. And I doubt you'll find another in a more beautiful picturesque setting.
The Good: It's close in, and easy to get to. They bring some jobs and merchandise to the valley that wouldn't other be here. Subsequently, they bring money into the local economy, which contributes to everyone's success to some degree or another. And finally, What an outstanding setting!
I would rate this a bit higher, but for a couple things:
They decided not to renew the lease of Sawdust, which was a great little independently own coffee shop that also featured local musicians. I can't quite imagine why they wouldn't keep them. It was a great little coffee shop that had character (in the 'good' way) in a mall that has no other coffee and is otherwise devoid of interesting character, save the beautiful, picturesque setting.
My favorite store here -- the Black and Decker outlet store -- is long gone. For a guy, that was reason all in itself to come here. But with no coffee AND no tools? meh. (yeah, I know: not the mall's fault, but I'm just sayin'). That just leaves the Eddie Bauer store as a draw.
The shops are spread out around the perimeter of a roughly 25 acre site. This means you have to walk quite a bit to get from one place to another. I suppose this is designed to get you to walk by shops you otherwise might not, but that's not the way it tends to work out. The upside of this design is that there is plenty of well-lit parking right...
Read moreI'm so glad I drove over to check this place out before coming to shop. I was shocked at what I had pulled into. The website makes it seem like this is top notch shopping, but don't be fooled. This is no shopping destination. What is there is a desolate property with limited availability of stores. It would be challenging to do one-stop shopping here. I could tell that this outlet was once upon a time, the place to be in North Bend. The design looked very 80's and made me feel like a kid again. I didn't even get out my car. I just drove around and saw many empty spaces, and only a few operating stores. There was plenty of parking because there was barely anyone there, and this was on a Saturday. One positive of this place is that it is set in a beautiful location. North Bend is gorgeous and the outlet is surrounded by mountains and trees. This property is already developed, so its time for major reconstructive surgery. I'm sure there are those who would disagree with me, but I would love to see this outlet updated. Maybe that would bring in more vendors. I won't be returning here to shop as it was kinda depressing to be there. I hope this place can get some much...
