Plush salon & Spa — Attraction in North Fayette Township

I would highly recommend this salon. I happened to notice it when I was pumping gas across the street last week and thought the building/decor was adorable so I made a mental note to call them as I have recently moved and needed a new hair place closer to home. I'm so glad I called Plush! They got me in super quick (within 2 days) with no issue. My appt was with Myah* (spelling, sorry!) And she is just the absolute sweetest and so good at what she does. You can tell she truly cares. I got a cut, root touch up, balayage and blow dry/style and let me tell you, when I walked out of there today I was totally feeling myself 😭 hahaha I really LOVE how my hair turned out.

I told Myah what I was thinking of having done and asked her opinion on a few things. I'm so glad we went with what she and a fellow stylist recommended. Everything she did looks gorg! Oh and I was shocked (in a good way) at the price after. The salon I used to go to charged way more for the same service, that didn't look as good although I never mind paying whatever for good hair. Went for a root touch up with Nikki. Had a bad reaction to chemicals making my head itch and burn. I called the next day to find out what she used. Added some sort of toner which was the issue. Owner of salon literally accused me of having allergies, which I do not. I think the solution was left on way too long creating a color in my hair which turned out very dark. I was extremely upset about the whole experience. Also there are hidden charges. I asked for a root touch up which was normally at the most $65. At checkout I was given a $90 fee. I inquired why so high only to be told Nikki charged me $25 extra dollars to blow dry and “style” my hair which was literally 2 passes with flat iron. I guess customers are supposed to walk out of there with a wet head of hair in the middle of the afternoon. I explained to the owner of salon about my inflamed scalp and overcharge. Told her Nikki should have informed me of add on charges, which she did not. Julie, the owner, stated it was Nikki who charged that extra money. She would not refund my money after having a severe reaction to their products and being unhappy with their services. She lost a loyal customer. Negligence on the part of the stylist and owner. I’ve been going to Plush for years now to get my eyelashes done with Marissa. Prior to Plush, I have always hopped from place to place, because my lashes never looked good or stayed in long. Marissa is by far the best. Even though I’m horrible with eyelash care; my lashes always look great. Marissa is also a beautiful, sweet, and personable girl, and I enjoy our conversation and look forward to my monthly appointment. Julie, Glen, and the entire team are amazing professionals and run a business the right way. Also, I got my hair done there years ago, and they did an awesome job. I’m super low maintenance with my hair, and have held off dying it and rarely get it cut (and I’m in my 40’s) but I’m going to break down and make an apt with Plush to get it styled and highlighted since the white hairs are getting hard to hide!
