This particular Ulta in North Port is very disappointing. The lady that referred to herself as the “Manager” happened to be the one to greet us with a solemn “Yes, can I help you?” I let her know with a smile that 2 of my daughters had appointments for their brows to be waxed at the brow bar. She proceeded with stating that we must be mistaken. She had sent her brow girl home early apparently to save the store some money despite our booked appointments. I kindly explained to her that I had the verification text messages and screenshots of the appointments on my phone. I showed them to her. She shrugged and nonchalantly stated that there was nothing she could do. It didn’t bother her in the slightest. We go to Ulta because we feel they are generally experts at brows. Apparently, Ulta’s own “Manager” doesn’t feel the same way because she said “You could just go check a store down that way. They do threading.” I was surprised by her comment but I still tried to be kind and just said that my girls don’t like threading. The Ulta store “manager” then said “I get my own brows threaded, it’s great. Maybe you could try getting them waxed at the nail salon down the road.” This is very puzzling that their own manager doesn’t seem to feel that Ulta’s brow bar is superior in any way to a brow wax at any random nail place. I will not go back. We will not book there anymore. I know the manager does not care to lose our business, but I thought I’d leave this review in hopes to save other customers some time. It is very unfortunate that this store is represented by a manager such as this. One would think that there would be some training that a manager would go through to learn basic kindness or professionalism. She could have even pretended to care that they made a mistake and that would have felt better than just to brushed off as if it didn’t matter to her. Read moreSo I recently brought back a Lorac Eyeshadow Pallet that I purchased via the ulta app during their 21 days sale. When I placed the pallet on the counter the sales person commented that the brand was "old and that she hadn't seen that brand in a while? " I thought she was just being conversational until she said she couldn't find the purchase on my account. She said that " the pallet couldn't be theirs because they didn't even sale Lorac in the store anymore". After trying to find the purchase a second time, she tossed it back across the counter towards me and said " no, unhuh that's not our"! I was so taken aback I said "what do you mean it's not yours, of course it's your! Why would I try to return it if it wasnt!" Then I pulled up my email with the confirmation delivery details and gave it to her. She never even apologize for asking me feel like a thieving booster or acknowledged her rudeness in any way. She just gave my money back with no comment. Then you top it off, I was exchanging a perfume and walked over to the sales person who had gotten my bottle out of the locked case and she says " just go back to the register, I'll bring this up!" Like I can't be trusted to walk 5 feet to the register with a bottle of perfume in my hands! Not one of them said thank you or Im sorry for implying you were trying to return something that wasn't purchased here. I'm just done with the Cocoplum location! Half the time the sales people are standing around talking among themselves and don't even assist the patrons. Half the time what i need isn't in stock. Read moreI really wish the had a no stars button I’m Beyond mad I went in to the store because I have heard lots of good things but I when I arrived I got nothing like that. this was my first time visiting a ultra store and my last. Upon arriving at this store with my baby I was followed I wanted to make sure I wasn’t just over reacting so stayed thinking it was all I’m my head. But no it was I was the only person of color in the store at the time and I was asked 4 time if I need any help to which I told them NO I was just looking . Then even the manager a lady ask after telling her NO I seen her get on the radio and a couple of mins later was follow by a different young lady who also asked if I need any help then told her No ask well while giving her a funny look. to which she asked me if I had Said anything and I told her NO. for me to then turn around 1 min later and see the same young lady standing behind me . That is what I could no longer take and made me mad to my core I then asked to speak to aa manager and over come the lady that stood behind the counter . I ask her for come corporates number she said we do have it. but then tried to make me feel as tho I was crazy and that they were not following me even when I explained that there where two other customer that was just standing there and did not even get the same treatment as me she then said I will talk with her.
