To those planning birthday parties here, this is what they do: As soon as you go in, get seated in the birthday area, eat and finish up, then pay your whole bill, get cards for your kids play time, you are on your own after that. There is an extra $47.98 service fee for all parties, something they don't tell you early during booking, this is not host's gratuity. So be ready to pay extra gratuity if you wish.
Take a bunch of water bottles for kids because kids will get thirsty in the middle of playing unless you want to go to the food court to get water or expensive Icee or expensive soda. Basically, after your time at the birthday area, they won't help you in that area at all even if you want just a cup of water for your child. There is no charge for water at the food court. The employees there were nice too.
Our experience: We got there for a weekend 11 am party. They opened at 11 am. Our assigned host didnt show up to work. There was confusion with seating us. There was a lot of attitude and no smile on the face of the lady seating us as she was frustrated the host didn't show up to work. We got our drinks- pitcher of Lemonade and fruit punch from her. After about 40 mins, a different hostess came to help us. I was already doing everything by myself for the kids by then. Asked for a refill of fruit punch. Hostess was sweet. She went to two different soda machines, couldn't get any more fruit punch. She said they ran out.
During payout, there was no monitor or any screen to see charges. The cashier told us an amount and I paid it. When I got the receipt, there were additional charges. The amount they tell you is before any extra charges, and extra food charges. But once you get the receipt, you see you had additional charges which would have been good to know before completing the payment transaction. Transparency is of utmost importance during final payment
One of the kids in our group lost his card within an hour of playing. We had 2 hrs of unlimited time on rides and $20 on arcade. We talked to the same lady who had initially seated us during the birthday party, she told us we could get a card with unlimited rides on it but she cannot put the arcade money on the card, even if that arcade amount was not used at all. So get a wrist band or something to hold cards for your party of kids. Kids are bound to lose it while playing.
The place itself was great. Fun rides, clean. Kids enjoyed. I would give 5 stars to the place and ride monitoring employees. I would give 2 stars to the unorganized way of hosting our birthday party in the beginning which was embarrassing because there were other parents who noticed and...
Read moreThis is going to be a long review. But a complete honest one. I booked a reservation for my son’s 4th birthday party this weekend and the process could’ve been better. Crystal Jones was helpful when calling and reserving the entire setup but when I got a confirmation email from David Scott just 3 days prior telling me no outside cake or cupcakes were allowed UNLESS they were store bought with the ingredients visibly listed, I was livid. So I called him and his explanation was “it was hazardous to the other guests due to airborne pathogens from the treats”….. are you kidding me?? If that was the case Mr Scott, your establishment wouldn’t be allowed to serve food. Make it make sense. A family member called and spoke to Aman Mahmood and was told we could bring our own treats and decorations, so we did. I bake my son’s cake and cupcakes every year so it wasn’t a tradition I wanted to break. It’s something special, so this was heartbreaking to hear and sooo stressful to think I would have to find a store bought cake I was willing to purchase after spending so much money already on cake supplies. So the stress could’ve been avoided with better training and less misinformation. I had 11 children attending and paid for 14 parent wristbands. In total I paid a little over $600! (Including a tip for the party host) The children’s cards come with $20 and the parent’s cards (wristbands) have no value but to allow an adult on a ride with a child (I’d say which is 3 things total). The party was scheduled for 1pm and was told they were going to clean my two tables off starting at 2:20 which in fact they did so I felt very rushed. Never got to play laser tag and I don’t even remember seeing bowling but again for an hour and a half how would we even fit that in. I was told by the party host she would help me move all our stuff to a different table. For the amount of money I paid, I don’t think I would recommend having a party here, honestly. The kids had fun playing in the play areas like an indoor playground (which you could just take to an indoor play place for much less) but the games were expensive so the cards depleted fairly quickly and the parents had to fund their own cards so a parent wristband was pointless in purchasing. The lines were so long for the go carts, no one in my party was able to ride. Overall, I don’t feel it was $600 worth of fun & entertainment for an hour an a half. Cool for a date night I guess but definitely not...
Read moreMeh... great concept. Poor execution. Needs better organization to pull this place together. All attractions should be open all day, not at 4pm or later (laser tag). They definitely need more employees for when they are busy. They need more arcade games to accomoddate to overrrun attraction lines. And to purchase better quality, several machines were down during our visit. They need a better system for go cart. Although I personally did not wait, I heard ppl waited an hr & half for the ride. Maybe they should schedule rides or build a 2nd track. The mini golf tracks are ok. Very short only 8/9 holes. Laser tag is also disorganized. U hv no way of knowing whats going on with future play. Maybe they should try schedule game times or having ppl sign up for play times. The equipment is a bit blah and doesnt register shots well. The area is small but not terribly. But i didnt like that the lights are on during game play. So u can basically see everyone at all times. Not very thrilling. Prob best for smaller children imo. The kids play area is great, a bit boring dor parents bc all you can do is sit & watch. But the structure is huge and can handle several children at once without feeling overcrowded. There are 2 versions. One for big kids and one for toddler aged, so you dont hv to worry abt the lil ones being trampled. The prize area is wack. The cashier is shared with the upfront staff working the registers for ppl coming in. When they are busy u can expect long waits. And the prizes suck. Like bad. I didn't get a thing. However there is a bar, which not many ppl used (go figure). The bathroom setup was a bit annoying. I personally can't stand an automatic sink you have to push a button to get 10 seconds of water. But otherwise it was clean (shocking). Overall could be a great place once the iron out all the kinks. I would definitely recommend going during the day on weekdays. No crowds. Made the mistake of going labor day (but early). When we left the ENTIRE parking lot was completely full and the line coming in was out the door! But returned the following week during the day and it was ghost town. Only a few ppl there. Had the...
