BEWARE!! Our son purchased a chain for $450 from Amor. They "financed" it for him and told him to pay it off in 3 months or the finance charges would kick in. He lacked about $100 dollars by 3 month mark, and after that his credit card suddenly started getting $55 charges every 2 months (he made the mistake of giving it to them). Once it passed $500 we went to the store for a refund and they told us they couldn't do anything for us, and we need to call their financing partner. We called Acima while still in the store, and they told us that after the 3 months, the purchase turned into a lease and he owes $700 more on the chain until the lease is up. Say what?? How does a purchase suddenly turn into a lease, and now he owes an additional $700? Shady "financing" is how. I bought a necklace for my husband less than a month ago, it was lil short so they told me that they can extend the necklace and I can pick it up tomorrow which it was fine with me. a week later the necklace broke and I’m pretty sure it was at the spot where they extended it.
