Pool was nice to swim in. Love handicap bathroom I read the rules and try to follow the rules best I can but can be hard sometimes because I have Autism and learning disability and i misunderstand situations And things sometimes. They have a green and red light on top of the slide i always understood you go up and you wait till the light turned green for your turn. What I didn’t know was you had to wait at the bottom of the stairs to wait your turn. A kid was all ready going down slide I am slow and I am still at bottom of the stairs so I decided to go up. But then a lifeguard she was sanding right next to the stairs and she blew her whistle and then she was really rude and very disrespectful towards me. She could have walked couple more steps towards me instead of blowing her Whistle and making a big scene. and she could been nicer with her Tone of voice and not have such an attitude Towards me. I was friendly towards her and then she got more bitchy towards me again about my goggles and I told her what other Rec center told me I can put strap down my arm and then I cross my arms I was being friendly Towards her. And I asked her if that was okay do here and she rolled her eyes and then she said that find She had Such an attitude problem. II have to say I’ve been to other rec centers and never ever been treated like this before. This was my first time going to Going to Northland rec Center and this will be my last time going. I want to say this I don’t mind waiting down by stairs for my turn, I have the of Problem when someone treats me like she did. And lastly Kindness And courtesy goes a long ways. You never know what people going Through or there life...

New review: Since then, we have been scolded for having a teen using exercise equipment with adult supervision. Using a floating thing in the water, then when I pointed out all the other floats and that I have never been told this rule, the 10 times I have been here before, he lied and said that is always been the rule. Originally, he didn't want to call out anybody else (which is discrimination), and then when I called it out that everyone else was doing the exact same thing I was doing. Then they had to tell everybody, and the lifeguards were uncomfortable and didn't want to tell anybody but then had to because I was called it out. If you want a rule, just post it, enforce it on everybody, or don't have the rule at all. That being said, they never call out children under eighteen in the hot tub. Last but not least, the water was brown and murky. Update 3. I took a long break from the center. Staff has turned over. My teenage son is no longer being harassed by staff. Everything is clean, and I no longer...
Read moreI visited the city of Northglenn to get help replacing my ID after my wallet was misplaced. The building was easy to find. It's located across the street from a park, and bear the Sr. Center and rec center. The parking lot and exterior of the building were clean and looked cared for.
The interior of the building was also clean, and departments and offices were clearly marked. Staff were friendly. We found the room I needed. My wait was pretty short, maybe 5 minutes. There were only 4 people ahead of us in line but the line was served quickly. I got what I needed and left. My visit took maybe a half hour total.
The staff who provides the help with replacing my ID were friendly, approachable and willing to answer questions. The location is a bit too far for me to regularly go for help with community resources, but you are definitely sure to be assisted...
