Called before driving 30 minutes one way to this store to inquire about my printing needs. The young lady that answered the phone (I wish I had gotten her name) was very polite, helpful, listened, understood my inquiry, knew I would utilize self serve option, and provided a quote. Two hours later I drive 30 minutes, a lady was working, whom appeared annoyed of my arrival, asked how she could assist, and I explained the same as my call. She was not the same person I had spoken with. This persons name was Cassie- she immediately indicated that there were print jobs ahead of me. I said I could use self serve, but she then said I’d have to purchase a whole ream of card-stock, she went on to share all the ways should would not be able to assist me, commented about the services they no longer offer (which is incorrect based on my call and recent in store visit), was irritated that I was frI started, and so on. Then the general manager came over with just as much sarcastic tone, which does not help an already negative experience. When said and done I received no service during my visit, and was more frustrated with Cassie’s condescending tone, versus her inability to assist with a 13 page print job on the self serve printer. You may have policies in place, but your other team members aren’t following said policies, creating issues for you, Cassie, when you already aren’t positive about customer service. I left, found a FedEx 1 mile down the road, they were very helpful, and my little print task is perfectly complete. Thank you for nothing Office Depot. Cassie and the general manager need some updated lessons on customer service, the customer experience, and need to be reminded that everyone has a story and their story may be related to the print job and their story may be...
Read moreI have gone to this location on multiple occasions. I basically use this store for all of my printing needs and am here weekly. The girl at the printing station is absolutely horrid and does not have an ounce of customer service. The last time I came to this store I stood at the counter for five minutes before she acknowledged me, even after we made eye contact multiple times. I also had to initiate her acknowledgement by finally greeting her. I found it extremely rude, however it wasn't anything to deter me from using this store. After today however, I will never be returning. I walked up to the counter and the normal girl behind the counter and a man greeted me, kind of. I told them I was there for a pickup to which they told me I had not even ordered, even though I had the confirmation in hand. They then found it and expressed to me how I "need to order earlier because ya know, they have stuff to do around there too".I apologized for placing my order last minute (50 minutes prior to my arrival) and said I normally do order earlier but was unable to today. I also told them how much I appreciated them helping me. They printed my TWO pages and made it seem like I had asked them to donate their bone marrow to me. They laid my two pieces of paper on top of the bag, still mostly behind the counter and walked away without a single word. I grabbed my papers, put them in the bag and again told them that I appreciated them for doing that for me, to which one responded "mhmm". I started to walk away and said have a great night, and got the response "yep". I understand that customer service is a rare thing to come by now a days, but this was absolutely ridiculous, and has absolutely put the worst taste in my mouth...
Read moreWorst customer service! I went in with a jpeg that I wanted to get printed into a picture to hang on the wall. It was my first time ever doing something like this. When I went to the counter, a girl named Ally seemed very annoyed I was asking for help, and told me to just use the self service station; I had to do it myself. I went over there, and it was a regular printer. I went back and explained again that I wanted a picture (not a copy on regular paper). I went through the process, emailed them the jpeg with the subject line AND written in the actual email saying I wanted an 8X10 size. I also told her verbally...so 3 different ways. When I left, I honestly felt unsure, because it didn't seem like she knew what she was doing, and she's really not friendly. 2 days later I go to pick it up, and it's HUGE. Way bigger than 8X10. So I told Ally that it was't right, and that it was supposed to be 8X10. She then tells me that my husband didn't specify that, and that's what they automatically revert to. My husband was never in there! You put the blame on him, and he had nothing to do with it. It was me who came in, and only 2 days ago. So I showed her the email with the proof, and she just says she will put the order through again, and that it will take another 2-3 days to redo it. There was no "I'm sorry" or "so sorry, this was totally our mistake"...nothing like that at all. Again, she just seemed annoyed I'm even there to begin with. I asked for a refund and was told I can only get a gift card. I had to have the manager (who also isn't overly friendly) come up, and I finally was able to get...
