Sushi & Rolls — Restaurant in Livonia

I came here for the first time with my girlfriend for dinner on a Wednesday evening, and there were about 1 or 2 other tables that were filled with people dining in.. I am not sure why, but the staff here rushed my friend and I the entire time we were here. From the time we sat down, to while we ate, and from when we paid our bill, 3 different employees came to our table asking if we were ready to order, the staff watched our every move as we ate, and then the second we signed our bill, they came to pick up the check and grabbed it out of our hands before we could EVEN GET UP FROM OUR CHAIRS to leave. I would maybe understand if there was a wait, or if the restaurant was busy, but by the end of dinner, my friend and I were the only ones there and they still wanted to get us out for some reason. I honestly never write reviews, but I just had to let others know- if you want to have some down time and enjoy your dinner- DO NOT come here. The sushi was okay- nothing special. I would say I'd come back again if the staff wasn't so eager to get me out, but I will not be coming back here and will stick to my go-to's for sushi. I recently ordered dinner from Sushi and Rolls in Livonia, and it was quite an experience! First up was the Tempura California Roll. It scored an 8/10 for me, perfectly crispy and flavorful. Then came the Cancun Roll, topped with mangoes that added a delightful balance of sweetness - a solid 9/10. The Dynamite Roll was another highlight; deep-fried to perfection, it was an absolute delight and also earned a 9/10.

My husband tried the Bibim-Bob with Beef and loved it, giving it a 9/10. We also tried the Wednesday Special, which included the Las Vegas & American Dream rolls. Unfortunately, these were a bit of a letdown due to the excessive cream cheese, which overpowered the other flavors, leading to a score of 4/10. However, I believe that with less cream cheese, they could potentially reach a 7.

The Miso Soup was good, earning an 8/10 - a comforting and tasty choice. The Octopus Nigiri was also enjoyable, deserving an 8/10. However, the Glass Noodles didn't quite hit the mark for me, scoring only a 3/10 as I didn't quite like them.

Overall, I loved most of the dishes here at Sushi and Rolls. The quality and flavors were impressive, and I'm definitely planning to order again to try more of...

Honestly love there food however after my last incident I will not be back. I asked for soy paper because I prefer it over seaweed and 9 out of 10 places have it. Everything seemed fine then about 10 min after we had ordered the waitress came back and asked me about the soy paper (after I had told her while taking our order) , she looked at me extremely disgusted and then went around to the lady at the front counter who then spoke to the chef whom I was sitting in front of at the bar seating In Japanese. I'm not sure what was said but in gna say it wasn't very good. Considering the server repeated soy paper more then a few times after we had been served.
