Used to be a decent theater but now mostly half-digested woke ideology.
I'm a person of color, immigrant to the US and I'm appalled by this theater's creative team and their understanding of history. Seems like they get their version of history only from The New York Times.
The Chinese lady for example, a 14 year old Chinese girl SOLD by her parents to be taken to the US. But the entire show the woman cribs about "white people" 🤣. Not a word about her own parents who sold her into slavery. It's all somehow white people's fault isn't it? And I'm not even white 🤦 but it's so blatantly racist.
More and more shows are now just thoughtless revisionist history even a 14 year old could debunk. The self-flagellation is getting really boring to watch. Storytelling hijacked by propaganda is not entertaining.
If you like spending $40 to watch leftist bullcrap with background music, you'll love...

Dave was a great teacher that helped us to learn more about ourselves, about each other and oh yes Improv too....
