District Music Hall — Attraction in Norwalk

Went to the firehouse show on Sat Oct 7th 2023. I had a really great time! The place was ok. Kinda dumpy. Sound system was ok. Could have been louder. I sat on the front balcony. Had many beers and took magic mushrooms! I was so high from those mushrooms that I had the best time I've had in a long , long time!! I also brought marijuana. I didn't know if it was ok to light up because I didn't smell any weed being smoked. And i found that odd for a hard rock heavy metal show . Im not sure if they allow weed or not. I was probably better off refraining from the weed because i was already tripping my face off from the shrooms! Anyway, firehouse was awesome! I'm one of those fans who sits there and makes sure that the songs are played exactly like the CD. And they did very well! Yes, I would absolutely recommend seeing a show at this theater!! Under no circumstances should you buy tickets for a show unless you can make it regardless of any rescheduling. I bought tickets for this past July 30 show a month an a half before the show. Within two weeks if I recall it was postponed, and rescheduled. I don't mind that, but they moved the date to a day when my wife, and I are both working. Should I have read the fine print? Yes, I own that. That doesn't mean that it's not a terrible policy, and a terrible way to treat customers. They don't even handle their own sales. It's by eventbrite. I've already gotten an email saying no refunds. I called eventbrite on a Monday afternoon, but the staff is all out on "holiday." I called the box office, but can't get through. It's not the money. I had a good time at a concert. The vocals of both bands were hard to hear and my balcony view was blocked by a tall gentleman mostly in front of me. People used cell phones to get pix and videos (no flashes seen) but they also did FB scrolling, texting, etc with bright white screens without consequences. Staff was friendly and helpful. There were extra bathrooms upstairs that were practically empty after the show. We parked around the corner in a nearby lot. There were 3 nearby restaurants that offer 10% off if you show a ticket stub. The theatre was clean.
