Baldwin's Sweet Shop — Attraction in Oʻahu

2/11/2022 Hadn't been here in a bit but since hubby was ordering take out from the end of the strip, I decided to get some steps in and walk on down to Baldwin's. Tried something new today, a small li hing and lemon peel. I loved this combo!

7/14/2021 It's been so hot that I think this may be a regular habit everytime I go to Palama! I wandered down to Baldwin's for a keiki root beer and coke with ice cream today. Awesome as usual!

7/8/2021 I got a treat while we were waiting for our takeout...a small size pina colada and pineapple shave ice with ice cream for $4.50. The cup was packed high and the ice cream reached from the bottom of the cup to 1/4 of the way from the top! Yum! (I was so excited that I dug in)

6/11/2021 We were dying of sweat having come from walking around Chinatown so we decided to get shave ice. Due to Covid, no one is allowed in the store. Instead, they have a tent in front of the store and you can order from the employee that comes out to greet you. Both of us got the pounder size (largest cup size) that was $6. My pal got 3 flavors (the max flavors you can order) and ice cream add on for 75¢ more and I got 3 flavors, pina colada, coconut, and pineapple with mochi balls add on. You can also get the cup with a lid but since we were so hot, we asked for no lid so we could eat it right away. Ho, so good! The cup was packed with shave ice and the flavors were spot on! When we got to the middle of our shave ices, the cups were loaded with mochi balls and ice cream. We were happily surprised with how much ice cream and mochi balls were added. This is one of my fave places for shave ice as they're very generous with the syrup & shave ice amount and the employees are always nice. A great place to get a treat...

Aloha people; so I have passed this place so many times but today finally decided to stop in and see what all the hype was about. I was not disappointed , this place brought back small memories of the Crack seed stores I would go to as a kid. They have pretty good shave ice with all kinds of options. They also have different styles and flavors of kaki mochi and other great treats. You should definitely make a stop here when you are...

Great local snack shop. I usually go there for a small serving of shave ice. They have a variety of shave ice flavors. You can also ask them to add ice cream and/or azuki beans to your shave ice.
