Jamilla Yipp Photography — Attraction in Oak Park

I found Jamilla on Instagram and signed up for a holiday mini session. My son got sick at the last minute and she was able to squeeze us in the following week even though her schedule was packed. I’m so grateful she did! The studio is in a convenient location, and she was able to customize the background for us as well. She somehow held my son’s attention throughout the whole session (hard to do for a 1 year old) and we got many pictures of us smiling together as a family. I even bought some additional shots in the gallery because they all turned out so well. Jamilla did a newborn shoot for us in February 2020, both at the hospital and again in our home. She was fantastic!! She was calm, relaxed and amazing with both our baby and our 4-yr-old. She also made sure to get plenty of photos of each parent with the newborn — something I didn’t realize that I would cherish as much as I already do. We hired her because we loved her photography portfolio but will use her again because she was so easy to work with and kept us all happy during the shoots....
