Now I remember why I quit going here! We went at lunch time with a party of 6 for a birthday party and to say we were disappointed with somewhat of an understatement. We were seated in the back section past the bar. As we walked through I noticed the front section was fairly full and there was only two other tables in this back area. While we were sitting there waiting for a server 2 other server's approached us to let us know that our server would be with us soon. No one offered to even take a drink order! It was almost 15 minutes before our server even showed up to the table to take our drink order. We had two drinks coming from the bar and for that the server brought to us. It was about another 20 minutes before the drinks from the bar showed up. They had been sitting there a while as the tall beer was warm and the ice in the liquor drink had time to almost fully melt. After about 45 minutes the food started to show up to the table. As normal with this Hooters there were deficiencies in the order. Every time we would mention something was missing the server would say that's cuz we're making it fresh right now. So after a total of about 20 minutes all of the food eventually made it to the table. At one point the server stopped with our delinquent food in her hands to have a conversation with other servers while we sat there staring at her. At one point during our long wait, The server showed up to the table with some extra plates silverware on them. We assume that meant our food was coming soon. Boy were we wrong. There wasn't even enough silverware there for everyone sitting at the table. Eventually we were able to track down somebody busing tables to bring us some. One of our party members ordered a salad. It showed up without the salad dressing. Two of the people ordered side orders of fries that were supposedly being made fresh just for us that showed up cold. The other items that didn't we just gave up on! Although there are a lot of TVs in this restaurant. There was absolutely no background noise. Not a TV turned up no music playing nothing going on. Our total time in the restaurant for a party of six was about 1...
Read moreUpon entering the facility, we were greeted within a couple of minutes by Natalia who would be our server which we did not know. She sat us down and stated our server would be by in a couple minutes. About 5-10 minutes later we were greeted again by the women who sat us. She took out drink order and appetizer order and stated she was going to put the appetizer in. She came back with our drinks and took our dinner order around 10:15pm. Our waitress DID NOT COME BACK till we asked for a manger and at that time our drinks had been empty for over 45 minutes no food or update, and our waitress had not even come by to check on us. The manger stated he would check on our food and get our waitress to get us refills and he was sorry for the wait. He stated she had forgotten to put our order in. Our waitress came over and said did y'all want refills and we stated yes and gave her our drink order once AGAIN. She brought refills and stated our food would be out in a little. Our food came out about 20 minutes later, and our food was cold and incorrect. Wings we had ordered were supposed to be all flat and were not and when I say the food was COLD it was COLD like it had been sitting out. The waitress did not come back over to check on us, we had to get another serve to grab her. When we told her the food was wrong, she told the manger, and he came by again. We were ready to go but hungry he offered to remake the food and we waited another 15 minutes. We had a couple and a kid with us during this visit that also shared the horrible experience, but least their food was warm. The remade food came out hot but was STILL WRONG!!! Wrong sauce and wing count at this point we told the manger we were going to eat it due to us being hungry but was VERY unhappy. Not to mention no silverware the whole visit after asking many of times the restaurant was not even that busy...
Read moreSooo... first time ever going to one, everyone I was with told me to expect great food and friendly service and it wasn't "that" stereotype we all think of. Whelp, instead of them proving me wrong, the rest of my party were the ones who were wrong. Where to start... how about the fact it took 15 minutes for our party of 4 to get all the drinks (bar had no one working it apparently). Then the food finally arrived (we were wondering if they had to raise the chickens from eggs or something) I was missing my fries and everything else was cold. My fries arrived about the time I finished my chicken fingers but at least they were hot and fully cooked. The rest of the fries at the table were still partially frozen.
The waitress had about zero personality of any type and clearly had more important things to do (like go outside and look up at the sun to see if the eclipse was going to happen).
If this wasn't bad enough, I had to use the ladies' room, which consisted of 2 regular stalls and a handicap accessible stall. One regular stall had no paper and clearly couldn't flush. The accessible stall had a space 2 feet by 4 feet with missing floor tile that you would have to walk over to get to the toilet. But one one in their right mind would do that as there was a towel covering the space and the towel was soak and liquid running to the door.
Even the exterior was run down and shabby with faded awnings, potholes in the drive, and just generally run down.
The place was practically empty and we were there at noon. There was one male employee who seemed like a manager. Be gave us menus and they was gone. Poor staff training, poor facilities management, and a general sense of not caring. Lots of bars try to copy the hooters concept and fail to make a go of it. If this location is any indication, hooters can't make...
