I came in not expecting to buy anything but the very friendly and knowledgeable man really intrigued me with a lot of the knowledge surrounding olive oil! I love learning off the beaten path things as an autistic person, so getting to know more about Olive oil really was something I found intriguing to the point that I have now found something of a special interest. I really love the Greek olive oil we bought- may my Italian ancestors forgive me, but the slight “kick” of a grassy flavor really added a unique charm to the oil that overall had a robust mouth feel. My family has been coming to Ogunquit for generations (even some of my great grandmothers paintings of the area are hung up in the museum!) so when we make our trip back as we oftentimes do, it’ll be hard to come back without some of the unique...

AMAAAZING! We stop in every time we’re in town and this place NEVER DISAPPOINTS. First—the service is absolutely top notch. The gentleman, is extremely kind and patient and knows his stuff. Full of great recommendations, and so patient as we try and sample just about every flavor and his recommendations are super intuitive.

The craft balsamic vinegars are wonderful, we love the Fig balsamic for an all-purpose, but don’t sleep on the sweeter white balsamic vinegars too! The Sassy Olive is a great little shop to stop into while you're in Ogunquit if you are looking for some tasty vinegars or olive oils or cute gifts to bring for someone. They have all sorts of vinegars ranging from maple, fig, blackberry ginger, lemongrass mint, pineapple, coconut, and green apple. They have olive oil such as blood orange, garlic herb, tuscan herb, and rosemary lavender. The two gentlemen who own the place are extremely helpful and are willing to assist you with finding the perfect combinations of vinegar and olive oil which you will like with meal pairings.
