August 2025 ... Food Poisoning👎 Popped in on a busy Sunday evening for a two-person table. After a 30-minute wait, updated and organized via text, we were seated near the bar where the bartender, Tim, handled our drink and food needs. He had a great personality and was super accommodating! He's local and knows plenty about the area and things to do. The food we ordered was definitely TASTY (the tacos got rave reviews as "the best I ever had!") and the bowl was a perfect portion. Where the experience was knocked two stars was in the actual provisions: 1. The upcharge to add BBQ jackfruit to the bowl was too much given the paltry portion added to the dish. Certainly not worth it after only one mouthful of the add-on. It was a disappointing portion of protein, for sure. 2. Likewise, we desired several substitutions for preferred ingredients in the tasty tacos (based on ingredients that already were parts of other dishes). While some changes were able to be made, the inability to provide food as-ordered because we were told the ingredients weren't available, and then those ingredients appeared on the other party's dinner was disappointing. 3. The churro cheesecake was rather dry and didn't live up to the hype, no matter how well it photographed. Far from a sweet way to round out a meal. 4. (WARNING: Graphic digestion issues) The resulting effects of the seemingly "tasty" tacos was an evening of unwanted stomach unsettlement. Vomiting over the course of several hours removed any signs of the aforementioned food, as well as any joy that had been experienced by the other member of our party. When the tacos poured grease from the "impossible" meat, the bile pyrotechnics that ensued made it impossible to continue to find joy in the meal. Other stomach ailments plagued the second member of our party, equating to further unpleasant results from our meal. Maybe it was something in the water, but in any case, it wasn't good. While these issues detracted from the evening (down to 2-stars), they did not wipe out the ambiance, vibe, or otherwise exceptionally friendly service. Neither of us will be returning after this unfortunate gastrointestinal experience.

Treehouse Taqueria!! My favorite place in the world!! The food: I have never had such a tasty meal CONSISTENTLY from any other restaurant. Been coming here since 2020, and every visit & year is always so tasty and filling. Never have had a complaint about the food. (Please be mindful that they are not trying to be authentic Mexican. If that is what you’re looking for , go to Banditios for food —but drinks here!) Drinks: AMAZING! Never have had better drinks anywhere else. I mean COME ON, buckets??!! Yes please! There’s a drink on the menu call the peachy pineapple sangria! GENIUS! Atmosphere: it is incredible! It’s Instagram worthy and so cute, no matter where you sit. It just brings such relaxation and fun. Workers: so amazing and kind. They check on you just enough, but not too much. They do not rush you and make great conversation. It just doesn’t get better than this. Every time I visit Ogunquit, Treehouse is our first stop. It will always hold a special place in my heart. Attached are photos from over the years, including this season! Thank you Treehouse for the memories

We were underwhelmed by our recent visit to Treehouse Taqueria. The pilgrimage up the stairs on the side of the building promised a grand adventure, the outside courtyard and the covered patio make for great and interesting spaces too. Even the inside dining area is cute and cozy. The food is hot and miss. And the service was disappointing. We ordered chips and salsa. The chips were stale and the salsa was more like chili sans the meat and beans. We tried a few, but ultimately sent it back. Curiously we were unclear whether they were going to bring us a fresh batch or what. The tacos were interesting, the chicken was o.k.; the jack fruit primarily tasted of pineapple, the veggie taco was out of this world delicious, flavorful and just the right amount of spice. It took a while to pay up, as our server was not very visible - and it is a small place. On the upside, the chips and salsa was credited to our bill.

Arrived at this beautiful place last weekend and was immediately swept away to another world. Walking up the stairs to this place, you’d never know once you arrive that you’re in Maine still at all. The ownership has clearly worked very hard to make you feel like you’re in a treehouse at the beach; surrounded by amazing food/drink choices and an attentive staff that makes you feel at home. The party of 5 I was with was immediately seated, even though the place appeared very full already and the owner himself came out to greet us and ask where we’re from. He suggested some drinks off the menu and after just a few minutes, we were sipping on some of the freshest, balanced margaritas I’ve ever had on the east coast. Once the drinks arrived, so did too the chips and salsa. I don’t know how or where they got this recipe for both their red and green salsa, but they should bottle it immediately so that I can enjoy it everywhere! The balance and flavor of the salsas were so good, that I almost forgot: There’s a whole menu waiting for me to order from! Our party of 5 ordered tacos from all over the menu to share and upon arrival, that’s when I knew 100% I’d be coming back here anytime I’m in the area. The tacos are just the right size and were bursting with fresh flavors that had me wanting more. There was plenty of meat in every one of them and to my surprise, these were the type of tacos that bend and dont break apart the second you start eating them. Needless to say, our group cleaned the plate and WILL be back as soon as possible to try again and experience this delicious...

Vegetarians and vegans rejoice! Treehouse Taqueria is an absolute dream. Many options including protein in the form of impossible tacos. Everything i ate had multiple layers of flavor. The vegetables were super fresh and it was an absolute delight to have good veggie options that weren't a burger or pizza. I come to ogunquit every summer for work and will be dreaming about this place until next summer. Protip:come thirsty. Their adult beverages were some of the best I've had. Similar to the food their unique cocktails had an abundance of flavor.

Best part was the service. I dined alone and Jules was an absolute legend. Eating alone can often feel uncomfortable, but I appreciated she hyped me up. I also noticed how great she was with her bigger tables. She is just a top notch server and deserves all the raises and accolades.

Other highlights include eating outside. The restaurant is up stairs and had a gorgeous garden area that made the experience even more magical. If you're in town and wanting something a little different after your lobster roll I 100% recommend finding sanctuary at...
