I've never had a good experience at a Burlington! No matter what state I am in! But once every 5 years or so, I set my expectations and think surly they have gotten more customer service friendly! And EVERY TIME I am disappointed. Todays the store on May and 63rd lured me in because of their recent remodel. I went in and was pleasantly surprised by all the wonderful clothes and excellent prices they had. Excited to have found such cute and affordable clothes. when my turn came to get to the next check out light no one was in the cubby even though the light was on. No worries, I go to window 6 the cashier had another associate( I assume the one that should have been at my original window) the cashier was on the phone for another couple of minutes never acknowledged me I tried to go the yet another window but that cashier had already called another customer so I went back to ole cashier number six who, by this time was off the phone, complaining about getting off work. she still never speaks to me just scans and yells for someone in the room behind her and begins telling them how she needs her relief she should be off and she cant wait around. After she is thru scanning my items I point to the theft tag and asked her to remove the tag and I pointed at another item that had one she thought that I wanted her to scan the item again.I explain the items need the device removed and shes says hold on hold and she starts counting items and aggressively flipping the clothes recounting and she had missed 3 items because she was careless when she was scanning the first time. I told her to keep her things and i would keep my money and I left over $120 worth of clothes on the counter. See you in 5 years Burlington when I think you might have changed or just want to feel my money is not as needed as that sweet sweet lay a way money they...
Read morePretty ridiculous when your store looks like it hasn’t been cleaned or remodeled since 1972, clothes on the floor, shoes on the floor yet you won’t take back a pair of jet black $9 sweat pants ... Go to Kohl’s...or Ross WORST CLOTHING STORE IVE EVER BEEN TO.... I bought a pair of sweat pants that did not fit. I took the tiny tags off and tried them on ONCE...they did not fit so I put them back in the bag and went to return them a few days later. I had done this with the same brand of sweat pants before and had no issues returning them. NOT THIS TIME. A manager of the cashiers (older blonde woman) comes up and tells me I can’t return clothes in such a condition and in the rudest way possible. I’m confused as the pants are the same condition as when I left the store, as they weren’t worn or washed, minus the tiny paper tag they stick to them..... she tells me I can go clean them up and even suggested I could go by a lint roller to clean them off. There was no lint or anything on the pants.....I have never had a store treat me this way and embarrass me in front of so many people. I’m not a gross person. My home is cleaned daily, I do laundry daily, the pants are dark black and had nothing on them. She just kept telling me no I won’t take these back and I’m just in shock. I literally left the sweat pants on the counter and gave her a few choice words to go with her attitude she was giving me. I don’t need the money and never did. Just thought this store was like others where if you buy something and it doesn’t fit you can return it. I left here feeling like trash over a $9 pair of sweat pants. And this was from a store manager. Ps. Take a look...
Read moreBurlington is a retail gem, offering an impressive array of items spanning fashion, home decor, and more, all at enticing prices. However, amidst the treasure trove of goods lies a challenge that can dampen the shopping experience: parking.
Stepping into Burlington feels like entering a treasure chest, with every aisle holding potential discoveries. Whether you're hunting for stylish apparel or searching for home essentials, the selection is vast and varied, catering to a broad range of tastes and preferences. It's this diversity that keeps me coming back time and time again.
However, the joy of exploring Burlington's offerings can be offset by the frustration of navigating its parking lot. Finding a spot during peak hours can be akin to searching for a needle in a haystack. The limited parking spaces often leave customers circling the lot in hopes of snagging a coveted spot, adding an unnecessary hurdle to the shopping experience.
Once parked, the journey inside is well worth the initial hassle. However, it's a shame that such an exceptional shopping destination is hindered by its parking situation. As someone who appreciates Burlington's diverse selection, I can't help but wish for a smoother transition from parking lot to shopping floor.
In conclusion, Burlington's wide array of items makes it a must-visit for savvy shoppers seeking quality products at affordable prices. However, the parking challenges can detract from an otherwise enjoyable experience. With improvements in parking infrastructure, Burlington could elevate its status from a hidden gem to a seamless shopping...
