The Winchester Drive-In is an absolute experience, and is a must-visit for everyone. Drive-ins are disappearing more and more across the country, but the Winchester has what it takes to keep this unique experience rolling. Every single staff member I encountered was pleasant and friendly, including the guy that was driving around in a golf cart purely to enforce parking regulations (see below). Everyone working concessions was fast and efficient, and pushed people through the concessions line better than any cinema in OKC. As is typical (from what I've heard) for drive-in theaters, the projector is a bit dim at first, but once everything's warmed up and the sun is fully set the projection quality is fantastic. Outside of some clipping during trailers, sound quality during the movie is great too, and the retro radio tunes during the pre-show really set the mood. One thing you'll need to pay attention to is arrival time and parking. I found that arriving by 60-45min before showtime is the best balance between parking spot selection and waiting time. Also note that hatchback sedans and compact crossovers are a bit unclear for correct parking. The admission attendants may say your Subaru Crosstrek is suitable for a silver pole (aka "sedan space") however if you at all plan to have the hatch open you'll want to park at a yellow pole (aka "SUV or truck" space). This could be a good distinction to make on their website. Concessions were fairly priced and a great variety, overall a fantastic experience.

Have to say my husband and myself had a blast. Even though that was a lot going on around us. What made it so much better of the placement on the parking spot and raised on the back so the car in directed to have you complete view. It was something I've been waiting to do for over 15 years. My husband and I will definitely be back with the family. ****** One thing for women to know Especially the bathrooms are not handicapped able so plan on going before and doors do not lock. So take a buddy with you!! The best way to describe the is an old school house bathroom. **** It still didn't put a damper on the experience it was a blast and I hope it takes open longer the Is year. Also, I know spending $20.00 for outside food it's worth it. We decided to stick to the snack bar we. We would have saved money by bringing food in. Repeat customer in the making. **Advice for newer cars bring an actual radio with you because if not you will be turning the car on every 20 mins and if it is a pain*** different old school. It's so much worth it!!!! We will be back. ***Update on Saturday May 3rd 2025 handicap stall has been installed into the ladies bathroom; was also told by my husband they now had a handicap bathroom stall as well*** Nice upgrades on the bathrooms thank you for all the disabled people like myself!!!! Will definitely be spreading the updates to all my disabled friends that now have the proper room to get wheelchairs etc in the bathrooms and not have to hold it all two movie's.

HORRIBLE!!!! I have been coming to this place since I was a little girl... and i have always loved and admired it!! But after tonight!! I can honestly say that this place is not like it was.. they have advertisements up on the screen that if u need something that the employees will help you.. well needless to say I waited 15 minutes for someone to come start my car for the second movie so we could watch it.. no one showed.. I called the the concession stand and a very rude woman got on the phone and told me to come up there and other then that then leave and then hung up.. remind u. I was not upset with her at this time was trying to explain the situation and again hung up.. so I go up and do as I'm told tell the woman that it wasn't very nice to be hanging up on customers when they are trying to get help that u advertise and aren't getting... there is video tape of everything.. and then 2 woman have nerve to put hands on me!! I have never in my life been treated so badly!!! And poorly!!! There is marks on my arm that my attorney will be getting.. I can't believe the woman there.. which I have their names... they did a very bad job at servicing the people of Winchester drive in.. I hope no.one ever experiences what I went thru with these woman.. this is not done.. I will be pressing charges and taking pictures... these woman should not be working there and employees need to be better on their advertisement.. they are falsely advertising.. we pay to have a great time and watch movies.. not to miss the first part of the movie cause out of everyone no one could come help u even tho u were told u were the only car that needed a jump... yes I am outraged.. I would never run a business like this.. please my friends be safe when u go here.. they aren't always...

We went tonight for the Big Daddy Weave/Zach Williams Concert. We went inside the concession area before the concert to get some drinks. It was myself and 6 year old little boy. We both have health issues and can not wear a mask. We walked in and peaked around first to see if people were eating inside. People we herded in like cattle! There was one person on top of another, with zero social distancing. There were people sitting there eating their food and visiting, mask free. My little boy and I waited in line about 5 mins and then was approached by security asking about masks. I told him I can’t wear one and neither can my little boy due to asthma and other health issues. We were pretty much kicked out with nothing to drink for a 3 hour concert. First of all.....How can you kick us out for not wearing a mask when you allow people to sit in there and eat without one on? Mind you, you stand right next to them while in line. How is it any different if we stand in line without one for health issues? I did not want to cause a scene, so I left without confrontation. Later I sent my two teenage boys to get drinks, WITH masks on. The lady at the concession singles them out and told them they were not to speak. She said they were spreading germs!!!! They both had masks on and over their nose. Who do you think you are? There were many adults tonight wearing masks below their chins in there, yet you single out the ones that have medical issues. Then you single out two teenagers that are there for a great night of worship and as a birthday gift, when they are following the rules. I have never been treated so badly by a business. Absolutely unprofessional! If you’re going to enforce rules, and be hateful about it, don’t pick and choose who you...

MOST IMPORTANT THING TO KNOW IS IF YOU ARE COMING AND LINING UP BEFORE THEY OPEN THE GATES, DO NOT LINE UP HEADING TOWARDS 240, YOU MUST GET IN THE LINE COMING FROM 240!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OR YOU WILL NOT BE LET IN!!!!!

Okay, now that is cleared up lol. We didnt have a problem (personally) because we were in the lane coming from 240 but saw a LOT of people super super ticked off because they had been in line just as long as we had and were told to go get in the other lane. I was thinking they need a sign that says this?! That's not very fair to those people, it does not say this ANYWHERE btw. If you're gonna do it, then have the guy out there that was telling them to go get in the other line, have him come out LONG LONG before the gates open. I bet they are losing business because of that!!

However, I will say, we got in line long long before the gates opened (we were in line long before 6) and the right lane was moving INSANELY faster than we were...of course we get much closer and see that it is a much older gentleman on our side (I mean at least 20 cars went in before we did on the left side of the line!!!) We didnt even get to settle in and get snacks etc before the movie because we didnt even make it through the gates to get parked until the movie was playing. There aren't many previews, there was hardly an intermission between movies (so we again missed the first 10 minutes of the second movie) and honestly during the second movie, this lady wouldn't stop YELLING at her 6 kids, the kids were yelling at eachother, it was miserable. They didnt shut up until more than halfway through the movie. :( we thought about leaving because it...
