We ordered through the app and went through the drive thru to pick up.
No one said anything at the speaker for quite a while so we continued toward the second window.
There were four cars in front us, all of which seemed to leave quickly without even receiving their order. The person directly in front us seemed visibly upset, gesturing out of their window toward the second window (the pick up window) and drive off without their order. Once getting to the window ourselves, it was clear why.
The woman at the window whose name tag said Angelica, took quite a while to acknowledge us and when she finally opened the window, she didn’t say anything or ask for our order, just motioned toward us rudely to speak. We told her we were picking up a mobile order and she rudely asked us three times who it was for, despite us saying clearly and loudly the name and number given for the order.
I can deal with attitude, even though it’s not pleasant, but I watched her from the window (directly beside the drink station) pour an old, opened drink (a medium that I have no idea how long was on the counter, sitting without a lid) that was already on the counter into my cup, and then fill the rest of my cup (since it was a large) up from the sprout. I saw her put ice in it from the machine, considering the medium old drink was full, the chances of ice once being in it but then melting are high.
That’s completely unsanitary and beyond unacceptable especially I have no idea what could’ve even fallen or been put in that drink beforehand or how long it’s just been sitting there.
We tried to talk to her, we tried to motion for her, we tried to bring this up, but she never once acknowledged us and turned her back to us. When our food was finally ready, she shoved it to us and didn’t even give us a chance to speak.
I love Burger King but this isn’t the first issue I’ve had with this particular location, but it is by far the most unsanitary and the one that’s made me change my mind about ordering Burger King again, especially from...
Read moreHorrible experience at the south west location on western. I’ve was taking my chance at a Burger King again after a bad experience 7 years ago at one in Midwest City. I say Why not it’s been 7 years and a different location. The drive thru lady was patient and kind but as soon as we pull up to the window all we hear is the manager yelling at this lady because we wanted our burgers a certain way and he didn’t want to prep them those ways apparently. She kept apologizing to us every time she poked out the window to hand us our drinks. I felt so bad for her all she was doing was her job and trying to give good service to us but he told her that she needs to leave if him yelling at her was upsetting her. I get it, bosses yell but what he was doing was uncalled for. All because we didn’t want cheese on one burger. No ketchup on another burger. And nothing but cheese and ketchup on another. And fourth one get it as it comes, how hard is it to remake burger’s, he was just being lazy and didn’t want to make new. They messed up two of our burgers and forgot to give us the one burger that wasn’t even speciality made and only had one of them right. We didn’t want to go back and say something mainly because how rude the manager was being so we spent that much money plus more because we went to McDonald’s instead afterwards. Just so sad on how his behavior was towards...
Read moreWent for lunch yesterday, 3/9/16, and ordered a number 1 in drive thru. Burger was cold and the fries had a long brown hair in it, so i brought the fries back and asked to speak to a manager. The woman, who happened to be the employee that took my order in DT, came over and asked if there was a problem. I showed her the hair in my fries and she NODDED her head. Like she knew that it was a possibility that this persons hair was going to get into peoples food. I work in another fast food place so i know that hats and/or hair nets are required. This establishment obviously doesnt follow that. Instead of apologizing for the DISGUSTING mistake, she took the fries and threw them in the trash and walked off. The older lady at the counter was nice enough to offer me another fry in its place but the idea of eating something else from them turned my stomach so i asked for a refund instead. The manager came back over and asked me what my order was and put a dollar and some changey hand, then walked off again. Like i said, i work in fast food, i understand that things happen but you, as a manager, dont just walk off and leave a customer that has a legitimate complaint standing at the counter. You apologize, you try to fix the situation and this manager...
