Disney's Character Warehouse — Attraction in Orlando

Worst experience ever, there were two people fighting at the cash registers over some clearance dresses. Didn't pay much attention until my wife was interested in one of the dresses being taken out but was unable to obtain because the two fighting were literally taking ALL of the inventory. Right in front of other customers just taking them all. They had to walk out with carts filled with unopened boxes of these clearance product which is obviously for resale while all we could do was stand there and watch. Apparently, according to the store manager they frequent the store and do this all the time. I know that the purpose of the store is to make money, but it is completely absurd that this is allowed in such a blatant way, disrespecting all other customers by not providing a limit which they can buy! Disney started banning passholders that buy limited edition items for resale, why is this any different? I loved coming to this store and finding items like these at great prices but today I understood why lately I leave the store empty handed, its because they sell in the first 20 minutes that they open wholesale to other vendors which are gonna resell these items at double or triple the price... this was truly a disappointing experience, even more so when the staff was unable to help us obtain at least one of the items. I saw at least 5 different styles of dresses and at least one style of men's button shirts being taken in bulk without an opportunity to request one for us. I truly hope someone does read this and takes proper measure to ensure this doesn't happen, but maybe it's just me being naive...

I went on a Monday I got there around 10:00 a.m. we stood in line the line moved pretty decently, we were asked for our phone number and then we were told that we would get a text message stating that it was our turn to go into the store. Once you receive your text message you have 15 minutes to join the line of the group that were requested to come back to the store, as people leave the store then the line that was text to go in goes in. So for example if two people come out the store two people go in. I know and have heard of wait times being anywhere between 1 hour and 3 hours I will wait time was approximately 45 minutes. If you see videos on YouTube of the store it's a little deceiving because when I actually went inside it was a lot smaller than what I thought it was. Everybody was friendly everybody kept their distance everybody had their masks on check out was pretty decent more valuable things like the Alex and Ani jewelry was behind the counter anything of higher value would be behind the counter. My daughter is about to begin her senior year. Last week we went back to school shopping at the Orlando International Outlet Mall on I-drive. We stopped by the Disney Character Warehouse and enjoyed looking at all the very cool and deeply discounted Disney products.

By the door they had a section of Mickey Ear products including graduation caps….from 2022. While we were looking at the ears we started chatting with the nicest Disney employee, Ricardo. We were trying on the ears and getting his opinion. We told him that it was Anamarie’s senior year. And we all decided that it was a good idea to buy a bunch of the ears for Anamarie to take senior year photos with her friends. The “2022” is on the side and wouldn’t be seen in photos. As we were checking out Ricardo walked over and gave us a magical moment. He grabbed one of the ears and bought them and gave them to Anamarie as a gift for her senior year. So kind! Completely unexpected. So Disney! And Ricardo took a photo with us!!
